Pros: Light, low kick, easy on paint, efficient
Cons: Barrel is unsatisfactory
The Axe is exceptionally smooth and efficient. Im able to get it down to 180 on the reg. and get extremely consistent. The barrel is really inaccurate, and should be replaced. I got a stiff on my axe, and it works wonders. When I was deciding on which gun to get, I had a choice between a used Ego and this. The Ego did shoot a bit better, but it was extremely loud and had a good amount of kick. The axe is an incredibly good deal for the price, and works amazing.

Pros: Affordable, Consistent, Compact
Cons: Barrel, Sometimes Touchy
I shot one for the entire 2011 season and it worked great. It shot great stock, but I decided to go ahead and stick a Lurker bolt in it to smooth out the kick a little (I used to shoot spool valves, so I like a smooth gun).

I don't like the look or length of the stock barrel, but it shoots fine. Also, a couple times I had some issues with velocity, and it took me quite some time to work out the kinks. Maybe it's because I don't know the platform as well, but with spool valves, I could have velocity issues solved in a couple minutes.

Overall a great gun, and I'll continue to recommend it to anybody wanting to play competition level paintball, but they don't have the money. I played right alongside the typical $700-1500 guns and did just fine.

Empire Axe i got my empire axe as a back up in-case another marker went down, but I found myself wanting to use it more and more. I found it was Extremely efficient and it loved the small, premium paint here....

Pros: Great price, Compares to ALOT of the Highend guns
Cons: Struggles in the cold
i got my empire axe as a back up in-case another marker went down, but I found myself wanting to use it more and more. I found it was Extremely efficient and it loved the small, premium paint here. The only real con about it, is in the cold the solenoid takes a few shots but after that it evens out, other than that it's a great marker, great efficiency, EXTREMELY quiet, and shoots ropes

Pros: Quiet, smooth, trigger, ASA
Cons: Ergonomics, feedneck
When I first picked up my Axe I was very skeptical about it. It is a little heavier than most guns out there and the ergonomics of it are much different than any other gun I have used. When I started playing with it, however, my mind was completely changed. It is pretty quiet and insanely smooth. The trigger is very solid and does not need to be changed. The ergonomics of it are still iffy, but they are growing on me. My only other gripe with the gun is the stock feedneck. However, once the loader is clamped down it doesn't really make a difference. Overall, I don't think there is another gun out for the price that can compete with the Axe.

Cons: None as of now
I absolutely love this gun. It shoots so accurate right out of the box. Very lightweight and feels wonderful in my hands. Pretty easy to change the modes once you're used to it. Definitely love the changes they've made. The gun shoots super quiet with little recoil. It's an easily maneuverable gun. You will not be disappointed with this marker. Pick it up and give it a try. Definitely one of the more underrated guns out there at this price.

Empire Axe Bought this gun used and it works like a charm, no chops or breaks, smooth as a pebble. Got a lurker bolt in it so its even better. Best bang for your buck.
