Cons:
The looks are not pretty unless you get a team gun. The stock barrel has a lot to be desired but will shoot a paintball.
Recommeded upgrades:
-Boss bolt kit. Its amazing how different the marker shoots.
-Barrel, i use a furious and love it.
-Upgraded board, just so much easier to program a board that has a screen.
Empire AxePros- great gun. Reliable. Good gun for the price. Nice on/off relay Asa
Cons- I've burnt out 3 main boards(there not very water/moisture friendly)

Could come with a nicer stock barrel like the empire barrel kit that comes with the empire snipers
Empire AxeEmpire made a great marker for a low price. With the superfreak barrel kit, this gun is super accurate and quiet. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a new marker.

Pros- The Axe is a quiet gun and the best value of a gun per dollar spent in my mind. Even without running any stock upgrades and dwell that was probably higher than it needed, the Axe always performed well for me and shot fantastically. Relatively quiet and more than efficient enough for any tournament game I played in I was impressed that a gun at that price point could keep up.
Cons- Sometimes the BOB system can be a bit of a pain to get out, and reprogramming any settings with the stock board was quite the hassle. Also, on an ergonomics note, I did not like how the gun felt or held. The steeper angle on the grips made it feel awkward in my hands and the lack of length was also made it less than comfortable to myself.
Overall, the Axe is still the gun I recommend to anyone looking to get into competitive play, and save their budget. I wouldn't mind shooting one, but if I did, I'd probably look into getting the foregrip extension.
