Pros: Gives the Mini the ups it deserves; flawless
Cons: Not a looker and is quite small
I received a Mini when they first came out. It would turn out to be the most reliable gun I've ever had the privilege to own and shoot. The Axe takes the perfect functionality of the Mini and gives it the On/Off and other steroids that turns it into a top tier paintball marker.

I've never had any of my dozen Minis or 5 Axes have an issue. Not one out of all 17. Even my IM9 needs an oring change every once in awhile and a dab of lube but the Axe is a camel when it comes to reliability.

Because the gun is quite small I typically add a Newmech fore grip extender. For $30 the gun turns into arguably one of the most comfortable feeling guns.

I got my Axe with Redline for $375 from a friend. The gun shoots great, has never chopped with any type of paint i've used with it so far. The redline works great and is a very nice upgrade to have, but not needed. Great gun for the price and can't say a single negative thing, performance wise.

I am very pleased with the axe, shoots like a high end just without all the fancy extras like oled or talking woman. It is a bit heavy, but being a bigger person is really no big deal. Overall if you are looking for an amazing gun at an affordable price, you cant go wrong with an axe!

I've been using this gun for a little while, as I just started playing paintball again. I use to rock an Smarts Parts Nasty impulse and had to get a new gun since I haven't played in so long. I picked this gun as it was decently ranked and heard a lot of better players use it.

I love it- I am replacing stock barrel soon as I don't feel like I shoot as accurate with it, but other then that I think the gun will get me back into tournaments again.

If you happen to change the bolt to boss or lurker bolt, it makes the gun even more efficient.

This gun looks great and worth every penny

Pros: No macro line, body construction.
Cons: Front grip is not sealed.
Got back into paintball after taking a break for a few years. Bought an Axe used and I gotta say I love this gun. Simple body construction makes it super easy to entirely stip the marker down and get a good cleaning after each use. All metal body frame is a plus and the flip switch on/off asa is super convenient. Flip the asa off and it automatically degases your gun. Bolt out the back without any tools makes for quick cleaning and relubing in the pit a cakewalk. Air efficiency is through the roof, like nothing I have ever shot. It is hard for me to find anything negative about this gun. Only negative thing I have found so far is that the front grip, where the board is housed is not sealed to prevent moisture from entering and destroying the board. Not sure what I am going to do remedy this but I'm sure someone out there has a solution.

used this gun for a little over a month now ... i absolutely love it and its a huge difference from my 2k4 impulse that i have been using ... its amazing that paintball has gone far more technologically advanced and smaller since back in the day ... bought a deadlywind barrel for this gun and its a nice upgrade ... my solenoid is very quiet compared to a friends and i might need to replace it but even tho its very quiet ... it shoots just fine ... if you get the chance to get one ... do it ... if pro teams are using it and it costs under 1k ... this is a good gun to buy

Pros: [Look Below] Smooth, easy programming
Cons: [Look Below] Ergos aren't great, bad consistency
First thoughts:
I got this as my first electric gun because I needed one. Anyway, I must say, this gun is great for it's price. Honestly, it's worth $700 or something because it's odd how it's smooth, efficient, quiet, light, etc. It doesn't come with everything like the Ego does. It comes with:
-Gun
-Barrel Sock
-.691 12 in. Barrel
-Repair kit

Appearance/Ergonomics:
Despite it's look, it still feels really good. When you're playing a game, I don't even notice how it handles because it feels pretty comfortable. When you first handle it, you're going to think "Oh man, this is really uncomfortable!" but in reality it's comfortable. If it matters, put on some hockey tape.

Efficiency:
For a $500 gun, the efficiency is great. I am going off a 68/45 Ninja tank I have. When I fill my tank, it goes up to 4000/3500 because my field does that for some reason. Anyway, after a game, the gauge looks like it hasn't even moved because I still have a lot of air! I can assure you the efficiency is 7-8 pods.

Performance:
SMOOTH! Super smooth. It's not even broken in yet and it feels like butter. There is pretty much no kick at all. Aside from the smoothness, there is also quietness. The Axe is really quiet. I have to say that it's a little less, if not quieter than the Geo2.1. You're ears won't be ringing when you keep shooting.

Reliability:
One of the greatest thing about this gun is that you don't have to worry about the gun breaking on you. As long as you re-lube your gun every 10-15 cases, you won't have a problem with this gun. If you can maintain a gun properly, get this. You won't have a problem.

Value:
As I stated before, I needed a good electro for cheap and I got the Axe. The Value is great, really. The Axe's price is so cheap, but the gun is good quality. It's like buying a 42 in. Samsung TV for $300.

Pros:
-Smooth
-Light
-Efficient
-Easy Programming (Once you get used to it, you'll memorize it in no time)
-Quiet
-Grips are great
-Comes with a repair kit
-Decent looking box it comes in
-GREAT PRICE!
-Easy Bolt removal
-Easy way to replace battery
-Uncomfortable when carrying around, but when playing it's good

Cons:
-Okay Feedneck
-Bad Barrel
-Inconsistent

Final Thoughts:
Well, I have to say, this is a great marker. Seriously, if you're thinking of buying this, an ETEK or the Reflex, look no further. Get this. I am NOT kidding you. I was in your same position. I went with the Axe because I did what you're doing. RESEARCHING! So +1 to you for that. Get the marker, love it, have sex with it, I don't care. You'll love this marker.
