Alright, PBNation, this is my review on the 2012 Alien Invasion. I love mine so far, the feel, the shot, and the colors I have. But back to business, I took this bad boy straight out of the Gat Wrap, you get just for buying it. It was raining at Paintball Sports Park and there were some good teams out. With the first pod or two through the marker, there was some FSDO but it went away pretty quickly, I didn't have a single break all day and I shot more than a case. No problems all day, it even chrono'ed at a sweet 285, +/- 5 at most. But the pros of the gun are very obvious when you look at it, one I wasn't able to list was how big the grip is. Some of the bigger players at my field called it a "Big Man Grip" because they were able to fit three fingers under the trigger frame. The LPR on this marker also is not pointed like you would see on some Ego's. The Last Pro I wasn't able to list is the Sweep bolt system, it kept my paint in a decent cluster even in the rain. I was shooting Valken Infinity, not the best I know, but it shot good in the rain for me. Now onto the bad news for this marker, the Cons. The stock two-piece barrel that you get when you purchase this gun is not the greatest, it will get the job done, but I would recommend buying a new barrel. The trigger, it is really weird at first, but once you get a bag or two through the marker, the trigger is easily walked. The Board, comes stock in a Semi-Automatic mode, I'm not completely sure if it is capped at a certain BPS or not, but it is rather hard to understand because you have to go online and download the manual. One Con for me that wasn't a problem while playing for me, but it could be for you is the fact that right above the grip of the marker, the top where the LPR sits, is not rounded at all, it is a square and it is somewhat sharp and could easily cut you on a dive into Snake or Dorito. But all in all I would definitely take the time to pick one of these bad boys up. The pros definitely out way the cons on every level. The gun is light, smooth shot, comfortable in the hands, and easy to work with. Simply put, it shoots people.

The gun is not the best looking gun in the world but what ever its a paintball gun. i just got done with the first d league event in san diego and it was raining and storming both days this gun was amazing it shot lazers all day even in the rain i have yet to break a ball. I only had to adjust the gun once in the morning and never again for both days and it was +- 5 all day long. When u get shot in the gun its easy to clean when getting ready for next match and oh yea the best thing is the lack of maitnence needed. plus if u have a issue just call jack rice he will walk u through the problem.

ive been on board with alien for the past year and my first gun was the 2010 indy. after picking up the invasion (just over half of the price of my indy) i set the indy in the closet. with the macroless design, the invasion is a very ergonomic gun. that however is where the diferences stop. same internals, ram, bolt and sweep valve as the indy that im used to and this gun is just about as smooth as the bigger brother. and for 600 bucks? are you kidding me?

got the gun from jack a few weeks ago. have never tried an alien marker so i figured i would give the invasion a try.the marker really impressed me. out of the box the marker feels well balanced. mounted my ninja lp 68/4500 tank, prophecy z2 and shot some paint thru it. even with the 693 bore it was surprisingly accurate. thru my bob long 685 barrel on it and the gun got quite. very smooth shooting. not as smooth as my g6r but really close. for the money there is no way u can beat the invasion. i have had eteks minis axe and the invasion is a much better gun. and ther cs is great.
