Pros: Light, Durable, Reliable, Customizable, AT, Quiet
Cons: All Plastic (almost), OK pump stroke
The Trracer was my first pump gun. I bought it used with a cci 12g changer, BT 10-rd feed, and a few other little things. For a beginner, it is a great pump. Simple, based on the nelson design (like phantoms) so it has a pretty smooth AT built in. The pump stroke is relatively smooth, but when it is still new mine was noisy when I pumped it, kind of a squeaking sound. The gun is very quiet, and if you're looking for a cheap pump, look no further. Better than anything in it's price range new. Sure, you could find something better used, but the trracer is a good gun. Recommend for sure.

Pros: First Strike
Cons: Barrel
I don't usually play pump but I picked up the Trracer exclusively for shooting FS rounds. I've taken it out a few times and it has performed excellently for the price I paid. My only complaint is that the stock barrel is pretty rough but for $100, you can't beat it.

Pros: autococker thread, rails, cheap, simple to clean
Cons: roll outs, double feeds, rough pump
Overall a great marker but tends to doublefeed. Love the autotrigger, clamping feedneck, and auococker threads. It is simple to take apart and clean but on the other hand it is very easy to short stroke because the pump is long. I would recommend it for people looking to get into pump because for the vale you get at the nice price point and because it is very accurate.

Pros: Good starter pump
Cons: Ergonomics/Changing FPS
Great starter pump for only $125. You can get a lot of shots off of a 68/4500, and it's nice and tight/compact. Three things I don't like; it isn't too comfortable to hold, and pumping it is kind of unsteady (from what I've observed in my play time with it) , and to change the FPS (for chronographing) you need to stick this ridiculously long allen key DOWN the barrel to adjust the FPS. It seems as if Empire is the only company to have this size allen key, because I have never seen it anywhere else, and if you lose it; you lose it.

Empire Trracer I really enjoy this gun. A great pick for 120$. Only real Con is the fact that you have to use a huge allen key to be able to chrono it. Nice gun.

Price paid: $100.00
Pros: reliability, simple design, first strike compatibl
Cons: must modify for first strike and feed tube
so i started out with the old pmi trracer so when i heard empire was bringing it back I KINDA got excited. this is a great gun its reliable, accurate, has an auto trigger (hold it down and oump away), can use the bt 10 round spring powered feed tube, takes first strike rounds, and cheap (under 120).

pump arm is a lil weak and in order to use a 10 round feed tube and first strike rounds you need to modify the feed arm which makes it even weaker (nothing a lil jb weld wont fix). second though it will take first strike rounds and is designed to take them there will be no first strike feed so they must be hand loaded i personally contacted empire and was given 4 different answers including "the trracer was not designed to use first strike rounds" my post on their support page has since been removed by empire as it made them and their techs look incredably stupid. it is a lil loud but its nowhere near as loud as the old pmi trracers. also its advertised as being able to use pmi trracer parts which is correct BUT if you are talking internal parts then you'll have to use all the internals from the pmi trracer not just one as the internals do differ but as a set can be used in either gun.

overall this is a great gun for the price i would recommend it to anyone wanting to get into pumps or someone looking for a milsim pump.
