Pros...
- Like most spool valves this gun shoots incredibly smooth (given you break it in some)
- The reg has a completely tool-less disassembly.
- Via USB you can update your board at any time.
- Macdev's new assemblys fit previous guns. (So I'm not left in the dust when a new assembly/bolt is released)
- With eyes on I've never chopped a single ball (only one or two barrel breaks) in the 6 months I've had the gun.
- Great warranty. I had some eye issues, got free eyes. They work great
- Very lightweight.
- Shoots a tight grouping (not unlike the Luxe) Cons...
- If you're into cool milling, this gun is pretty standard looking.
- Kinda pricey.....but hey its paintball!
- ASA violently vents air during pressurizing and depressurizing.
- Yes, the valve keg o-rings still get nicked up pretty often.
Summery...
- If your looking to drop some cash on a very high end gun, this is a great choice. I've shot this gun alongside a Luxe, NT, and DM10 and I saw no visible difference in their (tight) grouping (just in the feel). The Clone alongside other High end markers gives you that great ability to put paint right where you want it, with a flawlessly smooth feel. Aside from a slightly annoying ASA, this gun has become my new personal favorite.

i'm playing this gun since november 2010, and i have to say: the clone is incredible!
she shoots smooth, i like the handling, i never had problems with diffrent kinds of paint... honestly i have to say, this is the perfect gun.
i shot like 30-40 cases of paint till now with this gun, that means 80.000 paintballs with this gun, and i didn't change one o ring!
thats what i call a solid gun!
its no suprise, that a lot of european teams play this gun(russian legion, breakout spa, frankfurt syndicate and many more)
i had a dm8, i still have a cyborg rx, luxe 1.5 and of course my clone vx. and i have to say clone vx ftw

With a Violent Products trigger and magnetic return, it is my favorite trigger system of any marker I've ever used. The stretched length and roomy trigger guard feel fantastic. The trigger frame could have been milled for more of a radius instead of block-like.

I bought this gun at cup for $1250.Right out of the box it was quiet,Accurate,Fast,and Efficient.I had no problems at all.It didnt chop one ball either.I shot Ultra Evil and G.I Milsim Paint.(the kind legion used).The anno job is high quality as well.Everything about this gun is positive and I cant think of one thing wrong.

Shot a vx for a season, played several events with it. Very smooth marker right off the bat. After a few cases I was getting +/- 2 over thw chrono with a .685 insert in the stock barrel. Had no issues with the marker, shot flawlessly. I was a big fan of the vp trigger over stock but otherwise wpuldnt change a thing.

Have a Clone GT on order and will submit a review soon. all i have to say is if it's half the gun the VX was it will be a good review.
