The new slimmed down grip and grip position makes this marker feel very good in the hands. I took it to the field right out of the box and it performed wonderfully all day with +/- 5 FPS over the chrono. The longer control bore on the Shaft 4 barrel and the new method for screwing on the tip are good improvements. It is also much quieter than previous generation EGOs. The nicest thing for me is the ability to adjust the solenoid and board settings to make the marker perform how works best for me. I consider this marker to be one of the best on the market. Smooth, Efficient and easy to maintain.

I just picked up 2 brand new ego 11s for 925 and have only put a hopper through it so far. this is what i think of it so far
packaging: this is my first brand new ego ive ever owned, ive owned an 05 and an 07 ego used since ive started playing in 2003. well the case it comes in is just phenomenal, nice sturdy zippered case with the ego logo on the outside with some graphics on it. When you unzip and open the case the first thing you see is ur packaged ego in hard foam to make sure it doesnt get messed up during shipping, it also comes with a full allen wrench set you need for everything on the marker, a barrel bag, manual, PE oil, and a 2 piece matching shaft 4 barrel, its very sexy just in the box.
first impression: drop dead sexy, when i took it out i attached the barrel and realized they used a new 2 piece barrel threading. the barrel back screws in righty tighty and the front piece that screws into the back piece goes lefty tighty. after i screwed it on the gun i picked it up to compare weights with my 07 ego that i still own, the 11 is considerabley lighter than the 07, the 11 is also longer than the 07, this is just my opinion but the 11 also feels alot better in my hands than the 07, the 11 feels alot more spaced out and the way i hold my egos since they are usually so compact my fingers on my shooting hand occasionally rub on my forehands palm/meaty part of the hand. idk thats me, just an opinion
shooting: very smooth and a very straight shot, hardly any arc, was shooting into a very strong right wind, even with the wind they were ball on ball only going right because of the wind. the shot is also alot quieter than any previous ego ive had, also no kick what so ever that i can tell, if you complain about the kick of this marker youre crazy. cant say anything about efficiency because i havent actually gone to the field with it yet, have only heard good things though.
overall this is the best marker ive ever owned, i would suggest this to anyone who has an endless money supply to buy paintball guns.

I can't find a single thing to complain about. I've owned lots and lots of Egos and this is by far my favorite. I love the added smoothness and still there is the ego reliability present. So I can't complain about a single aspect of the gun.
I have my noid set to barely allow the gun to cycle at 12.5 normally and it is so smooth its not even funny. I've never had an ego cycle so smooth even compared to my SL8R on an SLP. I can also run the 11 on SLP, which makes it even smoother. Fantastic gun in all regards.

Planet Eclipse Ego 2011 (Ego11)By far the nicest of all the ego platforms out there. Super smooth and efficient. What else can a rec player ask for? Hahaha. I've used the Ego 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11. This is by far my favorite.

I've been Ballin' over 20+ years now in every aspect of the sport scenario,woodsball,rec-ball,re-ball,hyperball,airball,speedball etc. and have never shot a more reliable marker yet. I have yet to have a chop or barrel break. I can shoot every type of paint(cheap&expensive). My advise get a decent $300 marker like a MINI or an SLG and save up for as long as it takes to buy one of these bad boys. Ive used tons of various types of markers over the years and the only thing that comes close is a NT11-G6R-LUXE thats it period.

The Ego11 doesn't shoot normally like it's predecessors. If anything it shoots on a whole different level! The best way to describe it is like shooting a spool valve gun, except it's a poppit! The 11s shoot so straight there's barely any arc, or drop off!
Appearance: The milling and the ergonomics of the ego11 is really a work of art. Not only is it aesthetic to the eyes, it feels and handles very well. Holding the marker itself even feels more natural, and the extra rubber on the back of the frame where your thumb is makes the gun feel even more stable.
Performance: Very consistent with BPS and pressure. I've never broken a ball, or had any ball chops (this being that I use a Rotor on my ego). Each shot is always accurate, and the grouping is very tight. And with the adjustable solenoid, fine tuning your marker has never been this precise!
Efficiency: On a full tank of 68/4500, filled to 4500, I've gone through at least a full case easily.
Reliability: Since I've gotten my ego11, I have had little or no problems at all. The only time it ever has gone down on me, is because I forgot to change the battery after a few months. And even as the battery was dying it was still cycling and firing. I've never had any mechanical problems, or any electrical issues with the board. I regularly maintain my ego after every month, and keep it clean (as with poppits there's very little maintenance needed).
Overall: Definitely a keeper! And for those looking into it, you just can't compare it to any of the previous years. This is truly a revolutionary marker and will only continue to get better!

Overall the little timed i owned one, i liked the ego11. It was light easy to clean/maintain and nice feeling. Couple of things, i had several breaks at one point because i wasn't tightening the barrel all the way down. I had to almost OVER tighten it. Minus the POPS and inline regulator, i wish they had more to the marker. I didn't think the whole solenoid was that big of a deal. Didn't see much difference. And i wish they had gone down in barrel size possible or at least made it not so $$ to buy a smaller barrel kit to match.

Planet Eclipse Ego 2011 (Ego11)Best poppit on the market versus a g6r. Eclipse marker so it always works well. Adjustable solenoid is a winner to help it shoot super smooth. Price is excellent for a used one.
