I've used quite a few EGO markers, and the EGO 11 is definitely my favorite!

As much as I love the EGO, and Planet Eclipse in general, I always felt as if the new markers never had that many changes. Sure, they would change the milling on the body, add some new colors, and maybe make a few adjustments to the internals, but all in all, the markers seemed to be the same with each new model. That changed with the release of the EGO 11.

When I first took my EGO 11 out of the box, I immediately noticed how much more comfortable it felt in my hands than previous models. More specifically, I noticed that my trigger hand was significantly higher, and more in-line with the barrel, which is something that had always been missing in previous models. This makes the marker feel more natural in your hands, and actually relieved a bit of fatigue in my shooting hand.

The next thing that I noticed was the ease of use that came with the design of the new ASA. The previous versions of the ASA were always decent, and easy enough to use, but the new "POPS" ASA is definitely a great feature. In fact, there was a game where I forgot to turn the ASA on, and when I started shooting, nothing happened. Had it been a previous model, I would have had to turn the ASA to turn it on, but I simply tapped the button and the air was flowing! I definitely like that feature a lot!

Once I aired the marker up and took it for a spin, I was impressed with how smooth it felt right out of the box. Traditionally, poppet valve markers, especially the EGO, have always had a noticeable amount of kick. With the release of the EGO 11, Planet Eclipse claimed to have redesigned the inner workings to make the new marker shoot much, much smoother than previous models, and I must admit, they definitely delivered on this. Once the marker breaks and in you fiddle with the internal tuning, you can get it to shoot almost as smoothly as a spool valve marker, which is awesome!

In typical EGO fashion, cleaning and maintenance are as easy as pie, or at least, that's what I think. Perhaps that's because I tend to enjoy cleaning my gear though. I've never had a problem cleaning previous models of the EGO, and I found that cleaning and maintaining the EGO 11 was just as easy, if not actually a bit easier. It also seemed to need maintenance less frequently than previous models, although, I still clean my markers after every day of usage. It's just a habit of mine, and one that I don't think is a bad thing.

Adjustments on the EGO 11 are incredible. The trigger is just as adjustable as previous versions, and the board menu can be highly tuned to get the marker shooting just how you'd like it to. I've always been impressed with the interface that Planet Eclipse has to offer, and this was no disappointment. Nearly everything, from the trigger, the solenoid, and the board can be tuned to suit your needs and likings, which is not something that every marker can boast in their sales pitch.

Overall, the EGO 11 is a great marker. If you're new to the EGO family, I definitely recommend checking out an EGO 11. As with any product, try to find a way to test one before you buy it, just to see if it's for you, but I seriously doubt that you'd be disappointed. It's a great choice!

My only downside on it is, I get grief from people everytime I "upgrade" or switch our parts (bolt, barrel, etc), bc everyone who doesnt own one feels that it is best in "stock" condition. Too bad for you, you didnt pay for mine, and have zero say in what I do to it ...kisses...

Recently bought my first ego11. Right out of the box I was impressed about how good the gun felt. I've owned every gun imaginable, and this is with out a doubt one of the best feeling markers I've ever held. I really like the additions of the rubber running up the back of the frame, the added space between the reg/frame, and overall I just love this gun. I would highly recommend it to anyone who love ego's, by far the nicest ego to date.

I bought the gun used and the guy i got it from had NEVER cleaned it the way that it should have been but despite that, it shot great. Once i got the chance to clean it thoroughly and play with the solenoid a bit i got it to shoot even better than it already was. I haven't encountered any problems this gun at all and it is by far the best shooting ego i have ever shot. I think Planet Eclipse really outdid themselves with the adjustable solenoid manifold. It allows you to do some really cool things and really tailor the marker to your particular liking.
