You have to use low pressure tanks or else you'll blow every oring in the gun, you have to buy a pressure tester...

You have to use low pressure tanks or else you'll blow every oring in the gun, you have to buy a pressure tester to balance the regs or else the slightest misadjustment will make it shoot like ****, you have to use dow55 or else some orings won't seal right, all you get with the gun is a cardboard box, I could go on....
Admittedly, once you do get the gun down right, it shoots really smooth for a poppet, but honestly, when you're paying $1k for a gun, is it completely unreasonable to expect it to just work? flawlessly?

I bought 12 vampire G6Rs from bob long. Every G6R had diffrent pressure settings and diffrent chrono readings with the pressures set from blast. My personal G6R ran at 185hpr and 75lpr shooting 290fps. Lane wise this thing can spit paint like no other marker i have owned to date. The kick in this thing is minimal and compared to a spool valve. Effeciency wise it will beat any marker out their and i would shoot 9-10 pods with my 45/45 slp tank. The stock barrel gets the job done with out any problems. The new grips are the best and work great with gloves on. The G6R is very small and is great for front and mid players. The maintance on the G6R is very minimal and consists of cleaning the marker after every day of play with a rag. I have lubed my marker 3 times in the time i have had it. The only gripe i had was the tadao board needs more programing options but you can just flash it with will at tadao technologies. The price is extremely cheap for 850.00 where it should be a 1000+ marker!

Ive shot every ego and dye marker as well as geos up to the 2.1 and I can't say any of them stand a chance against the g6r on efficiency, I like the dye ul frame a little better and the smooth shot of spool valve markers but I don't think any markers stack up to the overall performance of my 2012 g6r

Overall I was pleased with my G6r.. when it decided it wanted to work. I owned two G6rs and I was not very pleased with them. I'm not sure if it was because they were both bone stock, but I've seen plenty of people have stock ones that shot great. I guess I just got the bad two out of the bunch but they were totally inconsistent on the chrono.
