I bought my g6r used and have a friend rebuild it for me. shoots amazing very flat not like most paintball guns. took a few cases for me to get used to, but now its a killer. I bet the heck out of it and it still shoots, example i was running out to the d corner and i slid in a muddy smelly puddle and my g6r took a bath in it. I stood up shook it off and shot 3 dudes out. i wrap hockey tape around the reg and grip frame to get a better grip. all in all for 650 its a great gun. I plan on buying another one soon.

This gun is amazing ! in looks and everything
Used it for 3 months and shot nothing but ropes every time
no reason you shouldnt buy this gun!
on reason people have doubts about buying this gun
is cause they hear people having leaks
but its because alot of people do not take Bob Longs recomendations
in example: getting a LP Tank reg and Dow 55

As I said in the con though I wish I wouldn't have had to give it up but I needed rent money but I can assure anyone who reads this that once I get my summer job back, I will be purchasing another one of these fine markers by Bob!

This was by far one of the best marker ive ever owned. Not only was it accurate, light weight, easy to tear down and clean, and so many other great things i could say about this. Also it is one of the best Dam efficient markers and never let me down not once. The packaging is not fancy at all and theres not really a manual and it could MOST DEFIANTLY use a full make-over, even tho the packaging is shi* your getting a AMAZING marker that your going to love.

I like the g6r. Have had two up to this point and love the ergos and the way the marker feels when I shoulder it. Snapshooting seems effortless. Only drawback for me is that I prefer the smooth shot of a spool. While the g6r is pretty smooth when upgraded its still not a spool smooth.

I've been playing for many years now and have used most of the high end guns at one time or another. Out of everything I've used, the G6R is so far my favorite. The balance on it is just about perfect and it's fast and accurate and very smooth shooting. The efficiency is quite nice as well.

I bought this G6R used for 720. It had no scratches what so ever. It came with a pillow bolt, LP popit, and 4eyes.. This gun shoot ropes. I like how light and fast it shoots. I use it for Scenario games because of how light weight it is and air efficient it is. I had a oring for the asa plunger tear and I was unable to use it for the rest of the day. The next day I fixed it no problem was very easy. This is a great gun and with the right care will last long.

I picked up a slightly used 2012 Bob Long G6R "GP Elite" two months ago, and so far I'm very impressed. The GP Elite edition is a custom version of the G6R made exclusively for gopaintball.ca and features custom milling, violent deuce trigger, LP poppit, 4C Laser Eyes, and a 5 piece matching barrel kit. The extras are basically every upgrade ever needed for the G6R.

I used this marker twice with a standard HP reg on my 68/4500 tank before swapping out a SLP reg, and man what a difference the SPL reg made! I can now get over a box of paint on a single 68/4500 tank! UNREAL! For paint, I'm shooting Inka Silver right now, fairly tough paint, but I have never chopped once. I shot a case of Inka Gold through it (VERY brittle paint), and never chopped a ball! 2 pods of Ultra Evil, no broken balls. This marker is super gentle on the paint.

The one complaint I have about this marker is that it will not chrono consistently before it has about 10k shots through it. I have the pressure tester and have tuned the gun, but it seems that it just sped up through the day as I played. Then, after my 9th box, I tore it down and did a full maintenance, greased all the o-rings, oiled the bolt, tore down the HP and LP regs, basically fully dismantled the gun and re-assembled it. Now, its like a new marker, and shoot really consistent throughout the day.

Bottom line is, there seems to be a lot of these markers on the used marker right now, lots of players are getting rid of them because they don't chrono consistently for tournament play. If you can get it fairly cheap, buy one, do a full maintenance, buy a SLP reg, and see if its not a super consistent, super quiet (for a poppit), and super efficient gun. I currently own an Ego 11, Geo 2.1, Empire Axe, and this, and after I did the maintenance, it became my favourite.
