So ive had the DP g4 for over a year and ive loved it despite negative reviews on the web , it feels really good in the hands small compact gun, very light weight so does have some kick, these guns are known for coming with a macro line leak and a bolt stick. From my experince i knew before buying it it wud have these problems but when i got it i had neither but eventually i got a macro line leak but all i did was remove it and place it back nd it stopped the leak. The gun is quiet and shoots really well if maintained properly , i got this gun despite all the abd reviews but i love this gun overall id recommend it to snyone good beginer gun.

Pros: Very light, Upgradeable, Great Value
Cons: Stock Bolt, Stock Barrel. Factory Lube
I purchased this as a back up gun and for friends to use. I have had no issues with the gun, very easy to use. Trigger has some slight side to side play that I fixed with very thin shims and currently has a Stella barrel on it. I recommend using some Dow 33 based lube for it over the factory grease. Plan to add a Techt bolt kit for it.

Recently got the G4. It's very light weight and compact. Mine is completely stock for now and can't wait to start upgrading it.

I haven't had any issues with it, even though there is that bolt stick issue going around. Change up the lube it came with and you should be good. Great little marker and would be great for younger and smaller players.

Price paid: $240.00
Pros: color, ASA, easy on/off eyes
Cons: Bolt stick, DP lube, anno job
The gun is not bad for new players, as long as you do some research and are comfortable with completely re-lubing it fresh out of the box.
I read a lot of reviews and like the rest of them say, the lube that comes with the marker is horrible. You basically have to take it out of the box, strip it, re-lube it, and THEN you can shoot. However, if you have a ball break and it gets on that bolt, you're going to have a horrible time. At that point you'll have to do a deep deep cleaning on that bolt and chamber.
As far as the paint, I got mine in a true white anno, and it looks amazing, it doesn't have any kind of silver finish, it's just white. That being said, the anno is already chipping off the front of the marker after a few dives. As well as the ASA lever losing it's coating after flipping it a few times. Considering I don't really "play rough" with my markers, this is incredibly disappointing.
One of my favorite things about the marker though is that you only have to tap the power button to turn the eyes on and off. I personally thought that it shot better eyes off. But if for some reason you can't shoot in the middle of the match, you just have to tap the power button to turn eyes off.
Overall it's a decent gun. The price is really good, especially because it already has and on/off ASA pre-installed. Something I had to pay and extra $100 for on my Empire Mini. But because it can so easily become cosmetically damaged don't get too attached to that "new gun look".

Cons: kick, chops (probably cause of crappy paint)
This Gun is awesome. Looks amazing and easy to get around as far as maintenance. It is a bit inaccurate but I just bought a proto barrel for this gun hoping that will help. Greatest stock asa for the price of the gun. I would recommend this for the budget baller.
