I got this gun a couple days ago and used for our ref day out at Texas Paintball. The efficiency on this gun is pretty damn good. I went through 1000 and only had to fill once (plus our air was only going to 3800). The trigger is so easy to customize which is key. I'm keeping mine on semi uncapped, I don't need to change the settings. The guns is really light weight and comfortable, but with that weight comes kick. But seriously, my cousins Angel A1 has just as much kick. All I need is a new barrel and I'll be good to go. I had no out of the box problems except for a leak out of the asa side of the macro line. I just pushed the hose up and it stopped, so no biggy.
Great gun for the price.

dont waste your time and get a mini or proto

Great gun for the price i have been playing paintball for about a year now. Im moving up from a upped Tippman 98. When selecting my gun i talked with many kids at my local field with g3's and Spec R's they said they have no problems really but a few kids guns didn't work right out of the box had many leaks with their Raps ASA. Besides that this guns shoots very well after poking around theirs many upgrades for it that i will be doing over the next month.
All and all for what i paid its a great gun i would highly recommend it to any new player starting out if they really want to get a bang for their buck $300 new isn't bad if you put it up to the other $300 dollar guns this beats em out

I recently purchased this market. Out of the box it did not work took it back to store. They fiddled with it and gun started to work. Took it home and 5 days later it stops working. Take back to retailer and as of yet have not heard anything back. Leads me to believe even they cannot fix it. Lol save your money buy an axe or a mini.

Okay let me start off with a disclaimer.
With DP guns, (particularly the G4) your going to get about a 50/50 chance of it working out of the box. I've bought two and both worked, so you can call me lucky, whatever. Also, almost 100% of the time the problem with the markers out of the box is leaking macro, or bolt stick. DP is retarted and uses something probably similar to loctite to lube their bolts. (Not really, but they might as well do that)
The G4 is an awesome gun out of the box, its super light, performs, and is probably the most attractive looking gun. Whoever is doing DP's anno, you are a boss.
The gun performs like a 300 dollar gun. Not that great of efficiency, loud as a MOFO, and has a decent amount of kick to it. there is a lot of stupid people who are used to using Ego's, DM's, Geo's, Luxe blah blah blah. stop being so bias and giving this gun a crap name, it performs and that is all.

Where do I start with this gun...It showed up right out of the box with a purple-ish barrel instead of black like the rest of the gun. So after a week on the phone with ANS and Dangerous Power I finally got to send it back only to find out I had to eat the shipping both ways...so add another 40 bucks to the price of this junk. It has a sticker right on the box "Made In Taiwan" which says it all. I debated for weeks between the G4 and the Mini and I clearly made the wrong choice. You have to change the cheap macro fittings and also worry about bolt stick. In the end it will cost more than a mini and give you headaches...stay away !!!!!

I ordered this gun and like a similar review it didn't work when I took it out of the box. I aired it up and nothing but a little puff sound, the solenoid wasn't even firing. I took the reg completely apart and put it back together and it did start to fire, but it was still not 100% right. Something was messed with the solenoid or regulator, idk but I sent it back because G4 is just a piece of crap I found out. It was really light and look really cool with the matte color, but then I just decided to get an Etek 3 and it is everything I hoped it could be.
