Pros: Great gun, comes with everything you need.
Cons: Cheap lube causes sticking
The G4 is an absolutely amazing gun. Its price should be higher for the amount of gun you get in this baby. The shot is smooth out of the box, efficiency and consistency is pretty good and it's very quiet!

The only thing you need to do is buy a quality dow 33 based lube, wipe all the existing lube off your G4, then re lube with your new quality lube. This will solve 99.9% of all your problems.

Pros: Good entry level
Cons: Bolt stick
When picking out my first mid range paintball gun, the Dangerous Power g4 had me sold. When first shooting the gun, the bolt did stick like everyone said it was going to. After wiping off the crap that was on it before, and applying some HaterSauce to it, the thing shot like a beauty.

After you get past the initial bolt stick problems and the usual 2-4 cases of breaking in period, the gun proves itself in play.

Great gun with many features, eyes, clamping feedneck,... Only problem was that it had bolt problems just put grease on the inside of the gun and its fixed. No bolt stick. Good gun for decent beginners looking to get into paintball. Good for price.

Pros: Light-weight, Price, BPS, Appearance
Cons: Leaks, Out of Box Issues, Bolt Stick
The Dangerous Power G4 has the potential to be a quality paintball marker and could be able to compete with some of the higher end markers. For its price the G4 is a pretty good deal. Although this gun as some pretty significant issues and does require upgrading if you do want it to compete with some of the higher end markers. As an owner of this gun for over two years I would recommend this gun to any friend as a great beginner but eventually you should think about upgrading to a better marker. Some of the large flaws in this gun would be the leaking macro lines. The first time I had played with this there where no problems at all, but as I put a second case of paint through it noticed a small leak coming from the macro lines, although this problem can easily be fixed by a slight readjustment of the macro lines or simply just replacing the macro line, it is a little bit of a hassel. The second issue is the bolt stick, out of the box the lube previously put on by the manufacturer is not a thin enough lube to keep up with how fast the bolt can move, but this problem can be quickly fixed if you catch it early with some thinner or lube or some type of gun oil. These cons might require you to make some upgrades if you want to get the best performance out of the gun as possible. The upgrades I would recommend you to make are new macro line fittings, new macro line, and a new bolt. Besides these issue this marker is a great but for its price. The stock barrel performs exceptionally well compared to some of the other markers in this price range if you make the proper upgrades. The board in this gun is amazing, no upgrading will ever be required. With a four mode board that can generate thirty-five balls per second can compare to some of the boards out there that are advertised as upgrades. So all in all this a GOOD gun but that is all it will be due to the fact of the significant amount of defective guns that DP has produced (mine being one of them) so you pretty much have to buy the gun on the right day because if you end up with a good marker it will provide you with years of great paintball playing but if you end up with a bad marker you will end up spending more money upgrading the gun than you have originally paid fo it.
