Pros: Super light, shoots fast and smooth
Cons: Out of box issues easy to fix
This is a great shooting gun for the price. It is practically a geo clone. Im pretty sure this is the lightest gun on the market and also feels great in the hands. If you get the techt bolt its is a huge upgrade, makes the gun quieter and much smoother. If your just getting into speedball and are on a budget get this

Pros: 0 maintenance
Cons: high air consumption
I've bought an used G4 here in San Juan, Argentina
I know the price I paid for an used unit is too high, but we live in the non-impossibles country

I love my G4. I've used it mostly in REC games set as semi, but wanna begin trying it as some speedball fields

The air consumption (I compared to dye reflex 12, empire axe) is kinda high but I usually fill my 68/4500 at full capacity and that's enough for a long day playing

Price paid: $300.00
Pros: lightweight, simple design
Cons: lot of kick
I have been playing paintball for 18 years and overall was really impressed with this gun. I got out of the sport for a few years and came back and thought i would get something cheap to just play locally with. picked one up and was pleasantly surprised by it.

THE GOOD:
the gun cycle fast shot real quick with tight groupings
trigger felt great really snappy
the gun was light easy to get on target and was accurate (when I put on a paint match barrel)
was really easy to maintenance even though I don't really get the Oring less bolt sure the bolt has no orings but you didn't get rid of them you simply moved them to the firing tube

THE BAD:
A lot of kick didn't effect me to bad because of my age I grew up on stbb and autocockers those guns kick a lot worse but might be tough for a newbie
The gun needed maintenance right out of the box having to clean and relube with thinner lube again not a big deal to somebody whose been in the sport but this gun is targeted to entry level players so it might create a frustrating issue
The barrel is terrible no matter what anybody says it is terrible unless you are shooting a .690 paintball it just isn't accurate or doesn't help with consistency over the chronograph ( the barrel is made of good quality the problem is its bored to big so this leads to inaccuracy)

Overall I thought this is a great gun for the price and other than a few minor things the gun would be great for and entry to mid player

Price paid: $299.00
Pros: Lightweight, good packaging
Cons: Breaks EXTREMELY easily, loud
Two of my friends who are also my teammates got this gun and they have had nothing but trouble with it. First you have to buy new lube because the factory lube does absolutely nothing. Second they break so so easily. One of my friend's G4 leaks like a leaky faucet through the factory fitting and he has had the gun for two months at the most with less than 3 cases in it. My other friend's G4 has a bolt stick problem and sometimes it doesnt like to shoot. I would not recommend this gun to anyone who needs a paintball gun that they need to actualy do what it needs to do. I would suggest a V3 Mini instead. Its a little bit more money but your pretty much getting a smaller axe without some features.

Cons: Weak eye-cover threads
I got my G4 earlier this year and all I can say is WOW.
This thing rips and shoots ropes. Has not missed a single beat since I opened the box and gassed it up.

I'm tired of haters not owning one yet have so much to say about it cause they've trolled the forums looking for the bad in it. PS it's nothing like the G3, and many of my team mates who shoot with Ego's love its size and speed, compairing it to their markers at a 3rd the price.
I could go on about how this girl that plays at my local field bought a Mini and it self destructed the first time she gassed it up and just hate on Mini's but I won't

At the end of the day it all about personal choice, I got one cause there aren't any where I come from (South Africa) and basically I'm the only one so far as I know in SA with one, particularly in the color I got.

A word of advice when getting one, do a complete service on it before gassing it up; Strip it down, clean off the lube that comes from the factory, lube it up with mineral or baby oil (I used baby oil) push the bolt all the way into the front, turn down the reg about half a turn clockwise and it should be ready to gass up. Dry fire about 20-30 shots, pod up, go chrono and rip some "cannon fodder" a new one.

Mine is a Black with Red accents (second release) with D/Red CP Razor Drop, Kingman Fasta 18v LCD loader, Virtue Board, PMD, Invert Whisper 14" barrel and 48/3000 Guerrilla air tank.
