Pros: Lightweight, good packaging
Cons: Breaks EXTREMELY easily, loud
Two of my friends who are also my teammates got this gun and they have had nothing but trouble with it. First you have to buy new lube because the factory lube does absolutely nothing. Second they break so so easily. One of my friend's G4 leaks like a leaky faucet through the factory fitting and he has had the gun for two months at the most with less than 3 cases in it. My other friend's G4 has a bolt stick problem and sometimes it doesnt like to shoot. I would not recommend this gun to anyone who needs a paintball gun that they need to actualy do what it needs to do. I would suggest a V3 Mini instead. Its a little bit more money but your pretty much getting a smaller axe without some features.

I got my G4 earlier this year and all I can say is WOW.
This thing rips and shoots ropes. Has not missed a single beat since I opened the box and gassed it up.

I'm tired of haters not owning one yet have so much to say about it cause they've trolled the forums looking for the bad in it. PS it's nothing like the G3, and many of my team mates who shoot with Ego's love its size and speed, compairing it to their markers at a 3rd the price.
I could go on about how this girl that plays at my local field bought a Mini and it self destructed the first time she gassed it up and just hate on Mini's but I won't

At the end of the day it all about personal choice, I got one cause there aren't any where I come from (South Africa) and basically I'm the only one so far as I know in SA with one, particularly in the color I got.

A word of advice when getting one, do a complete service on it before gassing it up; Strip it down, clean off the lube that comes from the factory, lube it up with mineral or baby oil (I used baby oil) push the bolt all the way into the front, turn down the reg about half a turn clockwise and it should be ready to gass up. Dry fire about 20-30 shots, pod up, go chrono and rip some "cannon fodder" a new one.

Mine is a Black with Red accents (second release) with D/Red CP Razor Drop, Kingman Fasta 18v LCD loader, Virtue Board, PMD, Invert Whisper 14" barrel and 48/3000 Guerrilla air tank.

Pros: Light Weight, Quiet, Durable
Cons: Kick, Macro Line Fittings, Eyes
I was able to get this marker pretty cheap through a sponsor and enjoyed it for the most part. The stock bolt was garbage and gave some bolt stick. Changed the bolt out for a TechT bolt as well as using the TechT Lube. Not a single problem since. I play woodsball and speedball smashing it into bunkers and trees. All together it has held up to my abuse. The macroline fittings are garbage too. They wore out which is expected from macroline and leaked a little. It does have kick to it but that is expected because it is such a light marker. I use a Halo Too and 48/45. Overall very very light set up. Get a 68/45 and a heavier hopper will make this gun very stable. Easy Maintenance. Had to replace the eyes as well because the originals would stop working after paint breaks caused by my crappy hopper. Battery life is nothing spectacular, a different board could fix that I am sure.

I ordered a black and red G4, but when i go it the black actually looked like a purpleish color but that didnt bother me. Heard about the bolt stick, never got it once. It was leaking from the macroline but thats a $2 fix. The board is very nice, you can switch from mod to mod very easily. The gun is extremely light. When i have a hopper full of paint and 68/45 carbon fiber on it, it feels like it lighter then my dads azodin blitz without any thing on it. This gun is AMAZING!!!

Cons: barrel threading
this is my first electric marker, and several of the features, specifically the on off asa flip and the weight are really superb. accuracy is excellent with good paint that matches the barrel bore. air efficiency appears to be average, nothing spectacular but also not disappointing. only very slightly more "kicky" than an invert mini. Iv'e found the board programming to be very easy after watching a few youtube videos, and it easily reaches it's advertised maximum bps of 35. overall i'm very satisfied with the purchase. wish I could get a barrel kit with it though, in order to better match paint.

Cons: fails to work 2 out of 3 times
Purchased this for my youngest son for Christmas and he's had regular challenges with the reliability.

It arrived dead out of the box. Tried everything to get it to work. Finally sent it back to DP, they "fixed it". Went back to the field, worked great. Then next time blew out 0-rings on the ASA then on the front air line. The airsmith at the field said, "oh yes, they're known for being unreliable. I tell the DP rep all the time they need to put nylon 0-rings in these." My other son has a Mini, I have an AXE, and we have had no issues at all with either.

Looks great, shoots great, just plan on fixing it frequently.

Epilogue: the good folks at DP issued an RMA to Ansgear to take the marker back for credit, still had to pay shipping. With the return and repair shipping costs we invested almost $100. He now has a Mini and happy to report no issues; other than he took me out last week on hyperball.

this gun is awesome right out of the box. luckily i didnt have the common problems out of the box and was able to get going right away. this gun bone stock is a great gun. alot of people consider this a starter gun but if you want a low end marker that can run with the high go with this one. the only thing i have a problem with now is what upgrades to get!

Pros: Lightweight, easy programming, easy to maintain
Cons: Bolt-stick
I bought this marker as a "first gun". I had played several times but never enough to go and buy my own gear and marker. It is very lightweight and looks great. It shot smooth right out of the box and has yet to chop or break paint after 3 cases.

I did encounter bolt-stick but only during an all day event with very low temperatures as well as wet conditions. I cleaned the bolt and re-lubricated the bolt with very light Lurkerlube and a small amount of oil to help thin it out. It completely fixed the problem and did not occur again.
