Ordered the DP G4 because of the good reviews online and have been totally pleased so far. No issues with bolt stick or leaking macro-lines like some reviews have stated. I do have to state though that I cleaned off all the stock lube and used baby oil to lube the marker before the initial use. Will transition to HaterSauce after breaking in the bolt. I also took the macro-line out out the elbow fittings and lubed up the o-rings inside the fittings with HaterSauce.

Pros: Lightweight, small, compact design
Cons: asa leaks, reliability
I picked up a brand new dp g4 on craigslist, it had only been fired once. I went out to a local paintball field of mine, Paintball Junkeez. I played a few games with it and it did great. The gun was lightweight, compact, easy to grip while diving and sliding, it had good accurate shots, and was pretty quiet. After a few games it had a really bad leak coming from the asa. I had a buddy of mine take it apart and replace some o ring. It took about half an hour out of my day and was still leaking a little.

I fix paintball guns for a living. And when I had a rush of customers bringing in these guns, brand new, broken, I got curious. I know with the G3's they were all garbage, constantly breaking, but I herd that the issues were fixed with the G4. This was not the case. I have had G4's come in with bad boards (not turning on), burrs left from machining causing o-rings to get sliced, leaky macro line, constantly leaking asa, non-functioning regulators, and more. When I got mine, the first thing I did was replace the macro. Then took it out to try. The velocity was horribly inconsistent. After some o-ring changes, and gentle polishing it was a little better, but still all over the place. I then added a CP asa and reg, as well as a UL barrel. The gun shot decent, but was still loud and just didn't shoot smooth. After a few more sessions of testing and tuning I got it to shoot a little better, but still it still didn't have anything on a stock mini or axe.

Cons: out of the box problems, regulator
For my first marker i thought this would be a great entry level tournament marker. and it is after you fix it. the problems i had were the fittings and macro line needed to be replaced because of leaks out of the box, i put Teflon tape on the feed neck threads because after i got shot in the hopper it would come unscrewed. the most expensive problem though was that I replaced the reg 2 months after buying it because of two problems. 1 it was always + or - 30 bps, so when i shot it always hit low or high and never really on target. 2 after a while it became extremely difficult to unscrew and clean, (I am now unable to open the stock reg without a metal tool.

I love my DP G4. It's a great entry level marker and has served me well in multiple tournemnets and scenarios. The only gripe I have about this marker is that the macro-line leaks right out of the box but it is easily fixable. Overall in my opinion you can't go wrong with a G4 as an entry level marker.
