The Dangerous Power G4 weighs in at 1.79lbs including barrel, RAPS ASA, low-profile clamping feedneck, & battery. The G4 has adapted the Spec-Rs accuracy and efficiency by utilizing the O-ring-less bolt system. The O-ring-less bolt not only improves the G4s performance, but also decreases O-ring wear and tear resulting in less maintenance!
The Dangerous Power G4 demands precision and comfort by adopting the Rev-Is four-way trigger adjustment including the breakaway magnetic trigger. The G4 includes a new, fully engineered, spring-assisted regulator increasing its accuracy and durability. Dangerous Power Engineering has enforced qualities in the G4 to adapt to change and overcome any scenario by implementing a fully programmable micro-switch board for every players preference.

when my friend first told me about the g4 i was suprised of how he said it shot and preformed. He ended up getting it for a friend that paid him to order it but i got to shoot it before anyone else.It was AMAZING!the first couple of shoots i wanted to fly the gun has no kick and is quieter than the dm11 or dye nt. it felt so good it had absoultly no kick if i were you i would go out and buy this gun right now. The stock setup is all you need it shoots great very easy to acsess gun modes dont have to open gun or anything all acsecesd with one button and very good rate of fire. 35 bps with stock board thats more than the virtue shoots . overall the smoothest gun i have ever shot, very proud to have shoot this gun its AmZiNg

Dangerous Power G4 Review
This gun was Dangerous Power's latest addition to the "G" Series that was extremely popular in their $300 price range guns. Like always, in my experience anyway, you are getting much more than you paid for.
Appearance
The gun was extremely cool looking. The 3D milling is very easy on the eyes. The marker seems to flow together and the snatch grip and bolt cap meld perfectly with the gun. At the same time, however, it's not excessive. It is very simplistic. The first time I picked it up I felt more like I was holding a piece of abstract art
I was extremely surprised to feel how light the gun was. I actually had a 2010 NT in reach and the gun felt lighter than the NT (not as ergonomic though) and I was instantly impressed. The regulator on the G4 is spring piston, rather than shims, which is nicer for maintaining imo. I like that they put the 90 degree fitting on the bottom of the reg, instead of on the side, much more comfortable! Of course the clamping feedneck and RAPS were cool
Everything feels comfortable and cool when the G4 is in your hands.
Performance
The G4 performed far beyond my expectations of a $300 marker. It fired quite consistently considering the bolt design. And was nice and smooth (this was before I got the L7. Compared to the L7, the stock bolt is a kicking horse) and the gun was surprisingly efficient. It's basically everything you would expect from a $500 Spool or Dump Valve marker, repackaged with a more simple milling for $300. It shoots straight, it's pretty quiet, very consistent regulator, ON/OFF ASA is one of the best in the industry, and the stock board comes with everything you could ever need. Ever.
My one major gripe was the bolt stick. It's an easy fix, but it was a PAIN IN THE ***! I expected it though, nothing this good comes without a hiccup or two. And I was extremely happy that the "hiccup" was something that could be fixed with a cleaned bolt and new lube.
Cons
-Bolt Stick. That sucks.
-Disassembling the RAPS can be a pain when fixing an O-Ring.
TL;DR
The Dangerous Power G4 is a solid, *** kicking, paintball marker for the price. It leaps and bounds over its competition in its price range and even above in some respects with ease. Bone stock you can kick some major ***, upgraded you can kick even more. I would recommend to anyone of all skill levels. This gun only returns good results.

I bought my G4 brand new. When I first opened the box, I was in shock, it looked fantastic, it was SEXY. At the time I ordered it, I had also ordered a TechT Bolt Engine for it. I aired it up stock, and shot some rounds through it, had a little FSDO, and every now and then I'd experience bolt stick. Thats part of the norm with the stock lube however. So I tore it down, and replaced the stock DP40 Lube with some quality Lurker Lube, FSDO was solved, and the bolt stick was non-existent. I put the TechT bolt in it, and it made this thing a new machine. The efficiency increased, by how much im not sure exactly, but I was def able to shoot more with it, than without. Overall the G4 is a great marker for the price. I would recommend this marker to anyone, with any skill level.

Very good gun overall, had problems out of the box,(Bolt stick), you have to clean the bolt and o rings when you get it otherwise the gun will make a "piff Piff" sound when gassed up and pulling the trigger The gun is very light and with a peanut tank and velocity jr. it makes the perfect speedball gun. adjustable trigger is light and crisp.

Pros:
The G4 is super simple, has no springs or valves and the bolt slides on the o-rings rather than the o-rings sliding inside the gun meaning you will never create wear inside the gun or scratch the gun internals on some grit. The only thing dirt or poor lubrication may damage is the bolt and o-rings. It is possibly the simplest spool valve design out there. These were big reasons why I bought the G4. I think DP did a great job making an inexpensive gun capable of competing with much more costly spool valve guns. A Dye DM11 new will cost you $1000+ and wont shoot any better. The G4 shoots reliably at 35bps!!! The machining and anno of the gun is well done and precise. I have never had a chop or break in the gun.
Cons:
I bought a used G4. I aired up and immediately had severe bolt stick. By the time I was through I had rebuilt the solenoid and replaced all the bolt o-rings because someone lubed with the wrong grease swelling them. Once I replaced all the o-rings I lubed with TechT juice drops for about 2 cases before going back to DOW33 on the bolt. The back cap o-ring inside the bolt leaked a little until I replaced it. I haven't had any problems since. Compared with way more expensive spool valve guns it is less consistent. Perhaps a different regulator would fix that. The back cap may work its way loose despite being snugged down. Mine will slowly unscrew itself at about 1/8th turn per 1000 shots. It has close to the worst efficiency in spool valve guns.
Now that the gun works like it is supposed to...
I really LOVE this gun!!! It is light, great ASA, excellent clamping feed neck, good on batteries, as nearly as efficient as way more expensive guns and as quiet. Considering it costs $300 new, it is a good deal. Don't listen to the "high end guys" who hate inexpensive stuff because they paid a lot for their gun. You should average over 6 pods on a 68/4500 tank with the stock bolt. The TechT bolt upgrade will give you another pod or two and less recoil and get you into the middle of the crowd of expensive spoolies. With a TechT bolt and comparing with much more expensive spool valve guns the efficiency, recoil, looks and sound signature are on par with higher end spoolies. The trigger adjustments are great allowing for refining it to your style of shooting. For the cost you can't beat the G4.
Suggested ups:
1. Get a barrel kit! Stock barrels are good for one thing, not being used. Freak inserts with a deadly winds barrel are awesome. The old Empire 7 piece barrel kits are great if you don't mind older used kits.
2. Maybe a different ASA if your tank reg hits the end of the RAPS lever or cut the end of the lever off. My Guerrilla air regs did. I got a POPS ASA and used the RAPS ASA elsewhere.
3. Techt L7 bolt if you want better efficiency and less recoil.
4. An APE or Virtue or Seventh Element OLED board if you can't live with looking at the light and pressing the trigger/power button to set the board. Really how often do you need to adjust the board? The stock board works great. The Seventh Element board integrates with their Rotor board tying the two together.
5. A better regulator to improve your consistency.
