The Geo2 comes with a completely new Propshaft Assembly. The design introduces a spring-loaded Drive Core. This Drive Core prevents air loss both on the firing stroke of the bolt, leaving residual, previously wasted air trapped in the valve chamber, as well as ensuring the valve chamber is fully sealed prior to re-filling on the return stroke of the bolt. This results in better efficiency and faster recharge of the valve chamber. The New Finned Propshaft Tip helps keep the propshaft and bolt concentric at all times.

This is the spool valve marker to get if you don't want to deal with the more complicated lpr operating system of the DM or the difficult o-ring fitment on the DLX luxe to make it shooting well.
The geo is very simple, the only maintenance you will have to do is is change out the 9 volt and clean/lube the bolt.
Once it's broken in, it shoots great and does so everytime you pull it out of the gear bag.
the only issue is if you are playing back in 7 man or play big games, you might want to look at a different gun with better efficiency, but not necessarily. if you shoot less than 7ish pods a game, your fine with the geo 2.

I have both an ego11 and a geo 2. Although they can't even be compared since they are 2 different platforms, I find myself using the geo more. It shoots just as well as any other spool valve design with little to no kick (just make sure to lube the bolt often). The feel of this gun in your hands is amazing, perfect distance between the grip and reg with plenty of extra space for your fingers...why do u think PE redesigned the ego frame to match the geo's?? PE is known for having really reliable guns and my geo holds truth to that statement, never had a problem with it for 9 months now. If you want a spool valve I suggest a geo over an nt/victory/clone, just make sure to have a 68/45 tank if your playing 7-man. Otherwise this gun is perfect!!

The Geo 2 is quite an amazing gun. I have had it for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! Everything about the marker is beautiful. It has a nice design, and great performance. The only downside is that it sometimes leaks from the reg. But other than that, it shoots great. 9/10!
