I have only had 1 opportunity to test this marker since I purchased it but this is my review thus far:
Pros:
-As with every SL its super light
-Had ball on ball at a target approx. 50-60 feet away. Separation of only a few inches at longer ranged targets
-smoothest shooting ego of them all (very minimal kick)
-extremely efficient (started w/ 4000psi in a 70ci tank. shot about 2 hoppers and 6 pods. Still had over 2000psi left in the tank)
-very easy to adjust all the settings. Particularly through e-portal
-E-Portal Splash Screen editor; while not at all necessary it is fun to add a little personalization to your marker
-additional extras (bolt inserts, optional replacement trigger, barrel kit, LP valve guide and extensive parts kit) are a major plus
-backed by the high quality customer service of PE.
As I only have a little more then a case and a half through mines so far I am still in the process of breaking it in. I look forward to see how/if the sound signature changes more with the "muffler" insert as well as how tight the consistency becomes over chrono. As mines was fresh out the box when i took it to the field I was getting +/-8, approximately, but again thats brand spanking new out the box. If its as solid as my previous SL's then I expect to get the same +/-3 once a little more broken in that I was getting with them.
Cons:
-Price....for some. At about 1800 its a lot to pay for a depreciating item. Its not an investment. Its a purchase. Some might say its not worth the extra $550 over the stock ego10. Well once you factor in the cost of all the additional extras (bolt inserts, optional replacement trigger, barrel kit, LP valve guide, E-Portal package) and subtract from 1795 to see the difference then you can make that assessment for yourself.
Other then that I can think of NO Cons for this marker.

The SLS is an Ego 10 with everything Planet Eclipse offers. But it is NOT worth 800 dollars for a barrel kit and some plastic pieces. SL's are only worth it if you want to be the guy at the field saying "hey little kid, I spent 2k on my sls, so i'm obviously a pro". Other than that, the SL service that Planet provides is WORTHLESS because when is an ego ever going to break down? And when they say they will provide any updates, the only updates they ever did was to the SL94 with the revised zick 2 and the plank kit. You can't get a free Cure 4 bolt because they don't give a crap about a marker that is 1 year old. Don't buy it, just buy a 700 dollar (ATM market value) ego10 for the same damn thing.
