This marker is the best marker to date. It is all aluminum so it makes it very heavy but practically indestructible. For the price this marker cant be beat.

This is my first marker I've ever owned I have used sp ion xe, pmi3( vm68), and a sl68. That's pretty much what I judged this one on. It works great mechanically and is perfect for what I need it for, but I personally think it might be better with cyclone or an electric hopper, but other than my opinion on that it is probably one of the best starter guns, prob because its basically a 98

Tippmann Sports Project Salvo I purchased this gun basically new from a guy awhile back. It shoots fine but now that I am trying to get rid of it I can hardly get anything. Other than that it looks great and shoots well.

Pros: reliable,accurate,cheap,looks great,rail space
Cons: heavy
This truly is a great paintball marker, and a great deal for the price. It is very sturdy and shoots quite well. It also can be hooked up with a bunch of upgrades internally and externally. There is plenty of rail space for scopes, flashlights, lasers, etc. and it is compatible with all 98 barrels, and most of the upgrades that Tippmann offers. Another great thing about this gun is that you can put the 98 flatline barrel on it. The flatline is amazing, and gives you a very big increase in range. Overall this gun is amazing and I would recommend this gun to anyone who is looking for a woodsball gun or anyone who is looking for a milsim gun.

The first game I played after buying this marker, I didn't even have to shoot anyone to win. It was a typical open field day and all of the players were so concerened about the guy with an assault rifle look-alike that my team cleaned house game after game after game. It was accurate, never failed, and scared the crap out of inexperienced players. The only downside to it is that it is the size and weight of a real weapon so you have to get used to maneuvering with it. For military people its an easy transition.

Tippmann Sports Project Salvo The project salvo is a great woodsball marker for scenario use. Its very heavy but for me i like the added weight. very customizable and it goes for a very good price.

One of the best makes out there for beginner players or veterans alike. Really, durable, can take a beating for years and years. Accepts most 98 Custom upgrades, like E-Trigger and Cyclone. Also has a top rail for accessories, and the handguard has 4 rails as well. Highly reccommend.
