i used this tank for over a season of hardcore woodsball, hardcore winterball, and of course, regular weekend play on a dirt field.
ive only had one problem with this reg, and it was one time in a scenario game where a spec of dirt got into my reg and bled out my air at the fill station (this could happen to any tank at any time, so it wasnt because of a "crappy" crossfire reg). solution? took off the fill nipple, wiped off the dirt, and slapped it back on. ive never had any consistency problems with it at all, even during winter.
its a very sleek and consistent reg, and i definitely recommend it. did not have any problems with the bursk disc, so the other person must of had a lemon.

The regulator has a history as bieng hit and miss when it comes to performance , but i feel very satisfied with crossfire. The regulator is quite small and feels like a very sturdy connection between gun and tank . I have mine mounted on a Pure energy 45, 4500 and no problems so far. Great reg for the money and no leaks whatsoever. Held a full 4500 psi for over a month without any loss of pressure.

Coming from the previous generation reg from crossfire I immediately fell in love with this newer. But alas it was not meant to be. About 6 months after getting this reg it began leaking out of the fill nipple.
While I haven't had any issue since this first leak I'm just waiting for something else to go wrong. Not a good feeling to have during tournaments. But hey at least it works.
Will definitely be getting a ninja next time.

I used this reg for about 4 minutes. You ask why? It failed and blew the 1.8k burst disk in the middle of its first game. I can't seem to fix it and their customer service is complete crap, when I even can get them on the phone there is no help there.

I've personally replaced several of these regs over the last year on teammates tanks. They start leaking almost immediately from the fill nipple, once that is replaced they start leaking from the pin valve. As soon as you've fixed these problems and finally start getting some shots through your gun the small pinhole above the fill nipple will start leaking. Constant regulator service is required (lubing piston, checking orings) to keep it leak free. The piston stem is almost always scored (Scratched). I Wouldnt recomment this regulator to anyone looking for a reliable tournament regulator.

Have only used this regulator one time, seems to work really well and had no problems with it. Filled it two weeks ago and is still holding air today. The only thing I'm not to sure of is how well the threads on the bonnet will hold up. Because old Crossfire regulators held up forever.
