Pros: Simple, comfortable, has double straps, etc....
Cons: None as of yet
I currently own a couple of pairs of Sly Profits, and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a phenomenal pair of goggles. Some of its best features being, the simplicity of the lens change system, how comfortable the mask feels (suede inside), the adjustability of the double straps, and its breathablity. Now its breathablity as some questioned before has never been an issue to me, but I do typically clean and use anti-fog on all my masks before really putting them through a beat down. The only real issue I had with the mask was as mentioned before, communicating while having them on. Because of the large amount of padding on the ear portion of the mask I sometimes have had a hard time hearing calls during matches. But this can be easily remedied by drilling a couple of 1/8” holes in or around the ears. Also I would recommend a headband if wearing these considering their low profile and or forehead exposure. But this is all imho…..

Great mask for somebody with a larger/longer face as the coverage is right where you would want it. Visibility is second to none as well as comfort, probably the most comfortable mask on the market. Lense change is quick and easy as well.
The mask is a bit stuffy, it needs more ventilation but never had an issue until the colder winter months. It really traps the warm air from your breath and even with everything worn properly and ensuring there is no rain guard in place I get fogging. Not something I wear in the winter now but toss on for spring through fall without issue.

In December I decided to finally upgrade my mask and spent a long time deciding between Profits and i4's. They seemed like extremely similar masks - both look good, have thermal lenses that can be easily changed, got good reviews, etc. I was having a really hard time deciding -- I liked the way the Profits looked but was concerned about complaints of fogging and lens scratching until I read some reviews on here about the customer service from Sly. Based on people's reports as well as Don listing his contact information on here, I decided to get a pair of Profits...

The first time I played with them, it was about 50 degrees out and sunny. After the first game the lens was so foggy that it literally looked like I was playing through a rainstorm. When I went to refill my hopper and tank I thoroughly wiped out the goggles. Halfway through the second game I was shooting at people by sound alone -- I couldn't see anything through the fog!!

I sent Don an e-mail but never got a response. This was right around Christmastime, so I assumed he was busy and decided that in case the lens was defective to buy a new lens, try that, and sort it out with Sly when I heard back from them. My new lens didn't fog at all...but after taking a paintball to the face once or twice I noticed that there are small scratches in a perfect circle where the paintball hit the lens. They will not buff out. One of the shots was a glancing blow that left a deep scratch across the middle of the lens. I am extremely careful with my equipment and clean it thoroughly after each use, but I've used this mask with the new lens three times now and the lens is already so scratched that it seriously impacts my vision on the field. I have e-mailed Don 2 more times now as well as calling him and leaving multiple messages and have yet to hear back.

I would not recommend this mask to anyone. Despite their claims that the lens fogging / scratching issues have been cleared up, I have experienced both. I would be willing to overlook this if their customer service was even half as good as people claim, but it's been almost 3 months and I have yet to hear back from them. I've basically given up on Sly. I would sell the mask, but I don't think it would be right to sell such an inferior product to someone. Instead, I will be buying a pair of i4's.

One of my favorite features of this mask is also a down fall. the mask has a very small profile so it won't get hit because it is sticking out from where you are ducked down but it doesn't protect the lower jaw/neck area very well. overall very good mask for the money and the camo version looks really cool

Best mask you can find yourself in the heat of battle wearing, extremely durable design and unmatched protection. A little hot in here sometimes but thats to be expected for the amount of protection this thing gives, I have i4's and these are way better in my opinion, if your a bigger guy and don't like the fit of i4 then the Profit's are for you.SLY Profit=WIN

Cons: Breathability
OK, So I have a Medium sized melon, and massive ears, and I also go back to the days of wearing ski goggles to play paintball, so we'll start there:

If you want protection above your eyebrows: This is not your mask
If you want a visor: This is not your mask
If you suffer from "Cranius Maximus"(Xtra large Melon): This is not your mask
If you suffer from medium to severe Clostrophobia: Not your mask, and you should prolly find a sport that does not require the covering of your face
If you are looking for better protection than any of the Dye masks every produced: this IS your mask

I LOVE this mask. Sure it feels a little stuffy, and it fogged when I forgot to take the rain shield out on a HOT day, but Lens changes are easy, and it just looks damned cool.

Pros:
- Many Lens options
- Easy lens change
- flexible lower
- Double straps

Cons:
- Slightly stuffy in and around your mouth.

Conclusion:

If you can take the heat, this is the mask for you. If not...well, I guess get otta the kitchen?

Pros: Look, padding, bounces, lens system, storage bag
Cons: Breathability, lens (see review)
I really like this mask. I purchased one about a year and a half ago, and have never really had any issues with it as far as cracking or anything of that sort.

I am going to get the cons out of the way first:
On hotter/humid days it can be very difficult to breath out of this mask. There is a ton of venting on the goggles, but they are slotted very very thin and it does restrict breathing. It's not so bad on cooler days, but on days where you end up breathing heavy it will restrict you a ton!

The only other con I can think of is the lens. Every lens has this anti UV coating on it that is supposed to help block UV rays, but it makes the lens seem smudged. Once you start playing its not that noticeable, but if you know its there it will irritate you to no end. I really wish they offered dual pane lenses without that coating. Its also worth noting, that its more obvious on clear lenses, not the gradient or smoke lenses.

There are a ton of pros to this mask. Let me start with the lens system. I have used everything from Flexes to vforce masks, and the profit blows every other lens system out of the water. A clip on each side that LOCKS and keeps your straps locked to your lens, locked to your mask. Its a 3 piece design and its absolutely flawless. Makes lens and strap replacement a breeze, and can be done in about 15 seconds. Some players complain about fogging issues, but I have never had an issue with either of my lenses fogging on me. I have played in hot/humid, rain, cooler rain, wind, extreme heat, and extreme cold, indoor and outdoor conditions and have never had the slightest hint of fogging. I'm not saying the lenses won't fog, but I personally have never experienced it.

Another pro is the ORIGINAL dual strap. There are a ton of different ways you can wear them and they ensure that your mask doesn't fall off of your head when you dive. The straps are very durable, and after almost 2 years, the elastic is still very snug and isn't worn out.

Many masks out there come with storage bags, but I love the bag the profits came in. Its a micro fiber-esque material that is very soft and will not scratch your lens. Its almost velvety.

This mask offers superior bounce protection, and ear protection. This mask is made of a very soft, flexible rubber compound. There are plenty of times that I have gotten bounces off of the side, or front of my mask that would have broken on other masks such as I4's or events. The ear protection is great. Its made of very soft foam and makes ear shots painless, however can cause hearing issues across field.

All in all this mask is well worth the money. Tons of people complain about not being able to hear, or talk out of the mask, but its just an illusion. I can talk just fine and people can hear me clearly. Its the effect of it because it wraps around your head a little bit.

I gotta recommend this mask to anybody that is looking for a great looking mask that offers quick change lens options and offers a ton of protection. Great product.
