Pros: a great barrel see the review,
Cons: for those looking for a barrel at any outing,
nice dust or gloss finish,
simple barrel profile make it attractive and light
even color in the annodizing,
evenly ported to remain quiet,
a stepped bore with long control bore to ramp up that shot countm,

whats not to like about this,
I have little ball breakage, consistent shots, and great performance overall.

and for 40 bucks.

lurker and CO outdid themselves.

consistent ball on ball for those tiny balls manufacturers have,

kee, valken, GI, procaps.

your balls are small.

This barrel has treated me so well up here in MN, and it makes me wonder why I even own a Freak Kit. It is always a great fit for my paint, and is 14 inches of perfection. The finish is somewhere between a gloss and dust which is a bit weird, but who cares about what it looks like when you're putting paint on people!?

Lurker Paintball Eigenbarrel great barrels bought .678 and .684 here on PbN b/s/t for $50 increases efficiency because such tight tolerances allows for lower pressures

Cons: 1-Piece Design
I really love this barrel and it simply can't be beat for the price. Underboring is definitely the way to go and anyone getting too many breaks has either gun or paint issues. The .678" seems to be the most popular choice and will shoot even mid grade paint (Premiums) fine.

My only complaint with this barrel is its one-piece design which makes it a tough sell getting anno'd and makes you keep two barrels around to get both bores.

I purchased both the .684 and .679 barrels and used them with my Axe. Great value at $40 each, brand new. The barrels have a very understated design, but performed very well. Did not have any breaks using XO Spectrum, Empire Heat and Marbilizer paint. I would highly recommend both Lurker barrels, but found myself using the .684 more often.

Pros: best pump barrel available, super light, quiet
Cons: "gloss" is not as clean as other gloss barrels
I have used CP 2pc barrels exclusively for the past 2 years and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I mainly play pump now, so I really appreciate a good underbore. After picking up an eigenbarrel on a whim, I'm sold.

Initial impressions
weight: it weighs right around 100g, making it one of the lightest non-carbonfiber barrels on the market

finish: some people have complained about the finish on the "gloss" barrel. It isnt as smooth as for example a CP gloss barrel, but its not really noticeable unless you look very close. Also, since it's black, it's even harder to tell. I dont mind it one bit.

performance: I swore by my 2pc CP .679 on the pump before. Without changing anything else on my gun, I gained an extra 10-15fps just by putting the eigenbarrel on. That allowed me to turn down the fps, and in effect, made the gun quieter. I also tried shooting all sorts of paint ranging from fresh marbs to 2yr old cheapo paint. They all fly straight.

Lasting impressions

quality: I have beaten this barrel up. I've taken core samples and slid through dirt and rocks. I have one very minor scratch (1/4" long) near the tip of the barrel and that's it. It is quite durable, especially for its weight.

value: Brand new directly from lurker, this barrel costs $39. Even if it cost $60, I would not think twice about picking up another. The next best value that can offer a good underbore would probably be a used cp 2pc 679 for around $40-50. I would argue that it's the best barrel on the market, and also just happens to be one of the least expensive.

Conclusion:
The eigenbarrel shoots as well as, if not better than, any other barrel you can find right now. At $39 brand new, you will not find a better deal. If you are looking for a pump barrel, or just a good underbore, you will not regret picking one up.
