I bought this barrel to use with my 2005 Superstock Pump. I got the .678 to help prevent roll outs, and also because the paint in my area is tiny. So far, it has performed flawlessly. The interior finish on the barrel is perfect and for $40, you won't find a better barrel.

I was a big fan of single bore 1 piece barrels back in the day, and I am glad that companies still make them. I was lucky enough to buy one used off of the nation, and have used it on multiple guns over the past year. Aside from in being a good deal, I have found that it is very accurate, even old dimpled paint comes out relatively straight.

Pros: Quite, Efficient, Durable
Cons: Only available in single piece models
I'll be honest here. I hadn't heard of Lurker's EIGENBARREL line until recently as I was looking into options for my newly acquired AXE. After seeing a lot of feedback in PBN's Empire forum I decided to give it a try and picked up both current models.

Lurker barrel's are marketed as designed for Underbore. I'm not going to get into that, as there's TONS of info on benefits/etc of Underboring. So they only have two options available.

I decided to go with the Dust versions as it sort of matched the Axe coloring.

As I took it to the field the first thing I noticed right away was the sound. I was underboring about .05 (GI Field 689 paint on the 684 barrel) and it had a very quiet sound signature to it. It was a fairly impressive change from the stock barrel I had used prior.

Secondary the efficiency did take a little bump, but take that with a grain of underboring salt as most likely taking another solid barrel with the same sizing would have been similar.

All in all, though, for 39 bucks it's a very solid deal if you need new barrels and not only do they perform well, but they sound great. They're made well, and ship quickly.

Enjoy.

Pros: a great barrel see the review,
Cons: for those looking for a barrel at any outing,
nice dust or gloss finish,
simple barrel profile make it attractive and light
even color in the annodizing,
evenly ported to remain quiet,
a stepped bore with long control bore to ramp up that shot countm,

whats not to like about this,
I have little ball breakage, consistent shots, and great performance overall.

and for 40 bucks.

lurker and CO outdid themselves.

consistent ball on ball for those tiny balls manufacturers have,

kee, valken, GI, procaps.

your balls are small.

Cons: Has trouble shooting through breaks
This barrel has treated me so well up here in MN, and it makes me wonder why I even own a Freak Kit. It is always a great fit for my paint, and is 14 inches of perfection. The finish is somewhere between a gloss and dust which is a bit weird, but who cares about what it looks like when you're putting paint on people!?

Lurker Paintball Eigenbarrel great barrels bought .678 and .684 here on PbN b/s/t for $50 increases efficiency because such tight tolerances allows for lower pressures
