Pros: Great all around!
Cons: Really has none
From the time I left Dye and picked up this clone I have been nothing but satisfied with the proficiency and quality of this marker. It is nothing but reliable. Never had a ball break unless it was just plain bad paint. The efficiency is excellent and tuning the marker is super easy. The bolt system is easy to maintain and reliable as well. I could not have asked for a better marker.

Pros: smooth and quiet shot, surprisingly efficient
Cons: Alot of parts, may confuse new users
Through my many years of playing paintball, no other gun has impressed me as much as the macdev clone has. I prefer spool valve guns and have either owned or shot every spool valve marker that has been released in the past 10 years, and none have been able to match the performance of the clone. It has everything you need to compete in competitive paintball. All the bells and whistles such as an oled board, clamping feedneck, and on/off asa come standard on the clone. The clone has unparalelled performance with one of the smoothest and quietest shots of any spool valve gun, as well as unbeatable air efficiency. I have been using a clone for a while now and from experience playing in the NCPA and NAPL, I assure you this is quite possibly the most efficient spool that money can buy. On average, I am able to shoot all 9 of my pods as well as a high capacity dye rotor without experiencing any drop-off in velocity whatsoever. I highly recommend this marker for any serious player looking for a smooth and quiet shooter, but still having great efficiency.

MacDev Clone Never had a problem with the gun or anything, I really enjoyed it and it just shot really well like it was supposed too. I don't think macdev gets enough credit for there markers.

MacDev Clone I had the Droid before this and that was amazing to me. This Clone tops that and will probably be my top 3 favorite guns that I have owned. Super light, smooth, and efficient for a spoolie.

A solid gun for the price. They shoot amazing and for a spool valve it's pretty reliable and requires little maintenance. The stock goodies are second to none. The case, manual, orings, lube, and barrel kit are top notch. Well worth it if you can find one used or new for a good price.

I love my clone!! I have owned Geos, DMs, abd DPs and this is by far the smoothest Spool valve marker I have ever shot. The stock OLED board with the USB port is top of the line. It works pretty much like the Tadao Mikko Huttenan Oled board. The Shift Barrel system is really good too!!

I was a avid ego shooter until I got my Clone. I had 4 at the time, now I only have 1. That in itself will tell you what I think of the clone.

When I first got my clone, I had a problem with the eyes and it took a little long to get them in from MacDev, however, MacDev gave me a full Oring kit to compensate for the length of time it took to get the eyes!! That is my only gripe!!

I have owned multiple clones and have to say, it is my favorite marker made to date. The gun is very comfortable, very smooth shooting, very efficient, and has very little maintenance. If I could just stop changing my color preferences I would never get rid of a clone. The only thing I wish is that Macdev was more prevalent at PSP events. Not that I am in dire need of tech support, it's just the fact of it being there that makes me more comfortable.
