i got this in a trade for a g6r and i can honestly say it was one of the best trades i have ever done. it came with vx internals and gold bolt. the clone is easy to use/clean after a day of play. its light and def gets the job done on the field. i hope i never have to get rid of this gun.

I received a new clone for the 2010 season through a sponsor deal. I really loved they way it shot, but it was not getting amazing efficiency like it was supposed to, and it was shredding one of the orings (which has now been fixed). I loved the way it shot though, very smooth with a little pop to it. My really only problem with the gun, and ultimately the reason I got rid of it, was that during one point, the trigger activation screw unscrewed itself and wasn't activating the microswitch, so I couldn't make the gun fire at all. We lost a crucial deciding point and I couldn't won it from my position had I a working gun. I'm sure it was a fluke problem, and Macdev has obviously worked out the bugs (look at the Russians and Uprising), so I would definitely consider shooing one again if given the opportunity.

i got a clone with the vx internals and gold bolt, along with the v2 militia software.
this gun is by far the smoothest gun ive shot, and ive shot all of them. its so smooth and consistent with the shot pattern, and even in the winter weather up here in new york, there was no bolt stick.
pros: smooth, accurate, consistent, reliable, small, light, simple in design, oled is awesome, all around simple, from maintenance to board settings.
the bolt seems complicated, but it really isnt. you lube it every 5 cases or so, and youre good. takes about 5 mins to fully strip the bolt, clean it and relube, then put back in.
no lpr to mess with either
inline reg is great. very consistent, and easy to maintain.
packaging: nice, small hard case with a soft exterior, looks and works great.
milling: there isnt much, but i think it still looks sleek. also that means no paint can get inside hard to clean places, and same goes with dirt.
cons: efficiency. i believe macdev claimed 1500 or 1700 shots off a 68/4500. now, the efficiency is good for a spoolie, but im not getting 1700 shots off of my tank. its not really a con because i get more than enough to last me a game, im just giving a heads up to people in case they really do expect to get that many shots.

The clone i owned shot amazing. No complaints there. The gun to me was great (the board, milling, shot,) but the efficiency was some what low but thats what you sacrifice usually for a spool. My biggest problem with macdev guns is that something about the frame just doesnt feel right. Its just not very comfortable compared to other gun's frames. But other than then the gun was great, consistent, and very smooth.
