Pros: Nice lid, Feeds great for Gravity fed loader, Dura
Cons: Sits a bit high
The proto Primo is a great gravity fed loader for anyone using a Pump, Mech, or even for a backup loader. You can reach about 8bps (give or take) as long as you leave a bit of room for the paint to load. Whenever I do fill the primo to the brim, I immediately begin to see loading problems, so make sure you leave some room for the magic to work! Only con is that the hopper sits a bit high on my guns, but besides that I love this hopper!

Proto Paintball Primo Used on a pump. Good for no batteries. Had to shake it a few times to get balls, but it was alright.

Cons: Feeds poorly
Feeds no better that a cheaper VL200 or Extreme Rage hopper. I don't understand how I can run to a bunker, shoulder my gun and find no paint in the feedneck.

Holds a lot of paint and Proto spent some time on making a nice lid and shape.

Pros: Feed rate
Cons: Size, limited color choice
Bought this to use on my tippmann originally, but after witnessing the performance, I now use the primo on pump. It can feed fast enough for an auto trigger, and is a fraction of the weight of say like a rotor. The only issue I have using it as a pump hopper is the size. I get shot out lore than I should because of the hopper. But for the price, you can't beat it

Proto Paintball Primo I was quite surprised with this hopper. I've used it as a back up on an ego, to lending it to a friend for their spyder, to using it as a larger hopper for my pump. Always performs great.

This is an amazing little gravity fed hopper. The little shelf they put in the center of it completely helps making sure it keeps a constant feed. Also, it's very durable. I've seen this thing take several shots and it wipes off like it was never there. Get it if you need it!

Pros: Cost, reliability
Cons: Big profile, shaking
The proto primo is a great hopper. I use it on my T2 and it has no problems keeping up with the AT. Occassionally you will have to shake the hopper to get a ball to feed, but not nearly as much as with any other gravity fed hopper. The hopper looks great, but it does have a tall profile. The capacity is average, and the cap seems pretty well made- it opens easily and is see through so you can guesstimate how much paint you have left. I wish there was an available speed feed upgrade available.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone rocking a pump or slower mech.
