Proto Paintball Primo I was quite surprised with this hopper. I've used it as a back up on an ego, to lending it to a friend for their spyder, to using it as a larger hopper for my pump. Always performs great.

great alternative for pump or a cheap low end upgrade from a gravity for woods ballers that don't want to spend more on an electronic or if you treat your gear like **** and it usually breaks this is good for you. It usually feeds at a decent speed for gravity. I like the innovation coming from proto

Pros: Cost, reliability
Cons: Big profile, shaking
The proto primo is a great hopper. I use it on my T2 and it has no problems keeping up with the AT. Occassionally you will have to shake the hopper to get a ball to feed, but not nearly as much as with any other gravity fed hopper. The hopper looks great, but it does have a tall profile. The capacity is average, and the cap seems pretty well made- it opens easily and is see through so you can guesstimate how much paint you have left. I wish there was an available speed feed upgrade available.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone rocking a pump or slower mech.

Feeds no better that a cheaper VL200 or Extreme Rage hopper. I don't understand how I can run to a bunker, shoulder my gun and find no paint in the feedneck.

Holds a lot of paint and Proto spent some time on making a nice lid and shape.
