Pros: Air efficient lightweight, sext
Cons: NO LPR Tester included and no On/off Asa
Bob Long has been top notch for years. My other marker is an Empire Axe and I consider this marker several years older to be on par if not superior.
Almost no kick, accurate with stock barrel, easy maintenance, durability, and sexy milling.

Problems:
No on/off ASA with marker (excusable as this marker is a few years old all g6r come standard now)
No LPR pressure tester included or available. Required equipment not included torques me off, but they run $40 so ok. What really makes my blood boil..... You can't get one even Bob Long direct doesn't have them.

Long story short....Used a good buy but ONLY if they include the LPR tester.

Pros: everything! minus trigger
Cons: trigger.. don't like the feel of S class design
I purchased my Vice through ebay. Got it brand new for $100 cheaper than list price!! I have a few upgrads.

i changed the stock tadao board to the Hater board! I chose the hater board becasue my Halo wouldn't feed any paint. (marker too quiet) once i installed the Hater symbio board in my Halo and the Hater in the Vice I have had no problems!

I have also upgraded to the 4c laser eyes, which are bad ***!!

Switched to the on/off asa. only bad thing about this is that you have to make sure turned all the way on! DUH!! I was playing in a tournament and couldn't figure out why i wasn't getting the right air pressure. My asa wasn't turned all the way on! it almost has to snap in place when turned totally on?!

and my last upgrade was the trigger. I tried changeing to the magnet upgrade but still didnt like the feel of the S class design. so i bought a CP rake trigger for the old intimidator. it fits, but the bearing is too large for the screw. so i took some macro line, trimmed it down and used it as a spacer in the bearing. bought a smaller magnet off my buddy from his Mini and it works with no problems!

Pros: extremely light,, very comfortable,
Cons: none
Appearance: one of the sickest aesthetic designs that simply accents "this gun is for big boys only". i was pleased to see the customized logo grip that came with it, which makes it even more beautiful. another mental not would be one the easiest, adjustable-feed neck systems that i've ever seen come on a high-end gun, and that "perfect grip" for those who need that extra space in between the trigger-frame.

Performance:
in my opinion (especially with the upgrades i have for the Vice), this gun easily destroys guns such as the Macdev Droid and the Dye DM9 (i feel this way because i've used both guns straight from the box). the reason i say this is because they (being MacDev and Dye/Proto)have very strict and uptight designs, that have actually hindered me in very tight play when holding multi-angled positions (i'm a snake/ dorito mid-field player). Because of the over excessive grip on the Droid,it makes leaning out and switching hands feel very awkward. The DM9 (...and again this is my opinion) was way too reinforced and very to similar to the earlier Proto designs (ex: the Rail SLG)... leaving me with not enough space to loosen my wrists and use my center of gravity for walking the trigger (on both hands). the Vice solved those issues to perfection. .

Reliability: The gun is very reliable even on the highest demands (especially with the 4c eye upgrade) and not once (even with my ever-running Dye Rotor) have i ever had a skipped rhythm nor an off-pattern shot with this gun. great compatability between bob long and tadao (ryujin)

Value: definitely a keeper, i really don't think i'll need another gun for the next couple of years. if this gun were to cost even more...i'd still buy it.

Cons: Pinging, Kick, Trigger, ASA
The vice was my first marker and I loved every bit of it! The frame feels great in the hands and is very lightweight! The grips are a little on the lame side but do work, although a nice pair of wrap arounds would make it better! I had noticed a decent amount of kick compared to what most people said about it being super smooth (which it is after being broken in). The stock trigger is horrible... In my opinion it doesn't have enough of a curve to it and it doesn't hang out far enough to make stroking long ropes comfortable. Also the ASA is not on/off from the factory, which kind of sucks considering the BL ASA's are $54.99. I upgraded the trigger to a Power Kodachi trigger and an Eigenram and it was a completely different beast! The ram reduced the kick and eliminated the pinging to nothing, I was astonished! A very great marker to pick up if you have the chance, prices drop all the time on a vice so if you get the chance, don't pass one up!

Pros: so smooth for a poppet
Cons: realy should come with LPR tester
Bought it used. Seems like there is a little more maintenance to keep it ship shape than most PE guns but I really like how smooth it shoots. Without the LPR at the field, I found myself with a brand new battery shooting at like 180 fps and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I have the LPR tester at home and a chrono at home so i knew i'd be fine. Come to find out. The LPR was waaaaay low after I had set it two days before and tested it. No issues since then. Love how it shoots. Very air efficient.

Pros: Efficiency, Weight, Upgrades, Price
Cons: No on-off ASA
Overall I think the Bob Long Vice is the best value high-end marker in paintball period. They are going for $350-500 used and they still continue to smoke almost every other high-end marker released to date. I can honestly only think of a handful of guns I would even consider trading my Vice for and they are all cost twice as much.

My Vice has 4C eyes, OLED Tadao board, LP poppet and an aftermarket barrel. The stock board and barrel are both incredible but mine happened to comes used with an OLED and I love having a screen, the barrel is just too big for most good quality paint today (691) so unless you are shooting recball garbage, you might want a smaller bore. The only thing my gun needs to be complete is a cam-drive ASA.

Definitely get a pressure tester, luckily my gun came with it, because you will not be able to properly set your LPR without one and when you do it makes ALL the difference in the way it shoots. Efficiency is absolutely absurd on this marker, the only marker that could possibly have it beat is its younger brother, the G6R. I get about a case of paint on 68/45 and that with my LP poppet installed. When I play in the woods, I never have to refill like I did with my PMR.

I don't plan on really getting any other markers for at least a couple of years, my Vice is just perfect for my style of play and it has all the bells and whistles I could possibly want. I love my Vice so much I'm considering anno'ing it to personalize it, if I planned on selling it that would be totally out of the question.

Basically, the only gun in the same realm of the Vice is the Marq and to prove how worthy these two markers are, look at how little Bob Long changed from the Marq Closer to the Victory and from the Vice to the G6R. He really designed perfection with the Vice and that's why the G6R is selling so well and is so similar to the Vice. If you are on the fence about the Vice, get it because you will never look back.
