APX GEAR Agro Basic i would use these paint for practice, they're affordable depends on where you live. But on occasion, there would be cases that are bad.

Pros: Great thick bright fills, good shells
Cons: shells hold up so so after time
I usually BYOP to my local field but sometimes I like to support them by buying paint there. They only carry XO and APX right now and the 3-4 cases of Agro I have purchased have all been good.

Not a single break in any of the cases, all balls were round and without dimples(the field stores their paint in a shed outside so I expected some weather related issues but the plastic bags kept them in good shape)

Shell color is fine, not too brittle for a mid grade paint but not so hard as to bounce more often. The fills are some of the best I have experienced(i have no experience with ultra evil or other top end paint) they are thick, bright and consistent. I shoot paint into a home depot bucket in the garage when tuning markers at home and the paint does not slide down the inside of the bucket, goes to show how thick it is, even a week later and it has not run at all.

Obviously this is better than the JT Wal-Mart paint I was using for only $10 more so it is a no brainer when you want decent paint to play with.

APX GEAR Agro Basic This paint shoots very well. Bought a case for around $40.00, it is great for practice and I can't complain.

Pros: Good fill and flies straight
Cons: Poor Packaging
I was able to shoot 5 cases of this stuff for a weekend I was quite impressed. The paint was decently brittle and flew straight. No matter what gun was out there (G6r, Nt11, Dm12, Luxe, axe), all markers were getting barrel breaks. These were not chops so the paint was brittle and broke on target, but not inside the gun (just the barrel). We were able to shoot different batches of white, yellow, and orange fill and all of them performed quite well.

The cons are that packaging on some of the paint is pretty as there are no dividers in the box that separate the paint. Thus the bags of paint just fall over each other and can create pressure on the paint near the bottom of the box. Some of the paint has small dimples in them, but it doesn't affect flight characteristics.

Overall I was very impressed with the paint and would definitely shoot it again and recommend it. The price for performance is great, I would compare the paint to other paints that cost $10 more.
