I like:
-even with dimples, the paintball shoots very straight
-the fill is not the best but its pretty thick and bright (i suspect the heavy fill is what allows this to fly so straight)
-pretty cheap for paintballs that perform close to tourney grade paint (can get them a bit cheaper if bought in bulk)
I disliked:
-the shell is actually pretty hard (would be good in woodsball)
I used to use stingers through my 07 ego as practice paint, but the paintballs can curve all weird at times due to the dimples. For whatever reason, the agro with dimples shot just as straight as if I were using some fresh rps premium. Allowed me to get some hits on people I normally wouldn't with the lesser grade stuff. On the flip side, I did see my paintballs bounce a bit at the long distances. But it was really cool seeing the paintballs fly and land on what I was shooting at!
I found the size consistancy to be better than average for practice grade paint. Don't hesitate to get this stuff.

The Agro Basic paint is all I shoot. I go through about 4 cases/month. Yes, it is dimpled, but the effect on accuracy is minimal to not noticeable. ~0.687 on average. At $105/3 pack, there is not a better deal in paintballs right now. The fill isn't as bright as some. The orange fill lately doesn't "pop" like some others (DXS Silver's orange fill, for example). But that's a minor caveat given the use for this paint.
If you're playing in a tourney, spend a little more and get the Fyre for the brighter fill and marginally better accuracy. But for recball/practice, this is where it's at. Period.
Customer service, whether through apxgear.com directly, or the southeast/east coast distributor deepsouthpaintball.com, is the best around. Can't say enough positive things about it. Try it out for yourself.

Almost every ball was misformed or had flat spots. They performed well on drop tests with the fill being bright and marking well. Too bad they wouldn't make it out the barrel. It may be good fresh..but my case was terrible.

At first glance, you will see about every 5 paintballs 3 of them will have dimples, I thought the paint would shoot crappy, but was I wrong. But when chronoing with a CP Reg, my Fps was jumping all over the place, I am thinking this is because of the dimples. Correct me if I'm wrong.
When I first shot the paint, it shot straight. Straight, no curves or anything. I have no idea why, but it did. Not one time did this paint not shoot where I was aiming. Throughout the day this is how it was, no chops, no curves, just a good day of paintball. Everytime I hit someone the paint fill is bright and I was able to see it from a distance.
If this changes anything, I use a pump. From this day forward I will be buying Agro paint.
For $40 this is the best paint, Agro.

APX GEAR Agro Basic38$ people. 38$! for good practice paint, cant beat it.
I can't say anything about consistent bore sizes or anything like that. This is solid mid-level paint.
