The Dye Rotor Quick Feed system eliminates the need for a traditional flip top lid. Made from a combination of soft, flexible material that allows paintballs to freely feed into the loader and a more rigid material that prevents paintballs from falling out. The Quick Feed system is the answer for those looking for the best way to re-load and stay in the game. Installation is quick and simple as the Quick Feed system installs between the top shell and the carrier. Simply unscrew the carrier screws on the underside of the top shell, place the Quick Feed in position, and secure it in place by re-installing the carrier back onto the top shell.

dye missed on this one big time. its a great concept, but the connections for the teeth are way too weak and break off all the time. you lose 1 or 2 teeth and your jsut pouring balls out of your hopper whenever its turned to the side. exalt, km, and virtue all make a much better product for about the same price. if you are looking for a speedfeed for your rotor, stay away from this one.

Dye as always is a valued name in the paintball industry. When you think of Dye, you think of expensive quality gear, the most innovative in paintball technology. In this case, the Dye Speed feed is lacking the most important aspects. Of course it looks "agg", doesnt add height to your hopper, and provides an easily accessible gate to your rotor, but it is unreliable and has a limited lifespan.. The collapsible "wings" break in after the first use and proceed to become flimsy after the first case of paint that passes through it. 1-10 balls are generally lost on a turbulent run or dive into a bunker. Ive even found myself losing a couple after a violent snapshooting retraction. It ultimately serves its purpose, but the design and quality definitely could be re-evaluated by engineers at dye precision. I would choose a crown over this anyday.

I have had my rotor since january. Bought quick feed loved it, had no problems, until the fingers started to sag. i would lose around 10 paintballs per slide. tab finally broke turned it in at local store bought another b/c they supposedly fixed the problem 2 months later i'm having the same problem. I bought the virtue crown this week, it's ugly as hell but i know it will be reliable. I still love the product just hope they can fix tab problem.

Looks good, but this is the lowest quality dye item I have ever used.
It does not stand up to the quality that I expect to get from dye and wears out much quicker than other comparably priced speedfeeds.
Buy a KM Spine instead for the same price.

I got this product soon as I got my Dye Rotor. It matched the color of the Rotor and the design on it makes it looks pretty nice and you can buy the color according to your Rotor's color. Looks only go so far though, and this product really lacked quality. The assembly of this thing is probably the hardest thing to do with the Dye Rotor, which is not very hard. Just unscrew the lid's screws and put it in then reassemble. I never had the problem of having to break this thing in because it is very soft and flexible soon as you get it, and by the end of the first day of using it, most of the tabs were bent down pretty badly. Now I did not abuse this thing, did'nt get the chance to because it broke down so fast, so this was not a cause of me using it wrongly. The first pod held the paintballs in very well but after using it with around 20 pods it was broken down to the point where the balls would just fall out. By the 5th day using this speedfeed one of the teeth broke off and jammed the hopper up, one tooth soon became two...then three. So far I have only three missing tabs which is soon to be more by the looks of it. Dye is known for putting out quality products and I have no complaint with the Rotor but this has to be the worst product of Dye's that I have ever used. Hopefully they will stay loyal to there customers and redo the quickfeed because this thing lacks the Dye quality we all know and love. Until then, I suggest a Virtue Crown or other speedfeeds for the Rotor, as I have seen all those work very well.
Pros Looks (Really flows with the Rotor's Design)
Function (It works like its supposed to for a little)
Cons Price (Costs way to much to break in a matter of 2 uses)
Function (Tabs bent, and did not hold paintballs properly)
Durability (Teeth broke off quickly, very little supporting them)

Dye Precision Dye Rotor Quick feedit looks great but doesnt hold up for long
Dye Precision Dye Rotor Quick feednice look but kind of hard to get paint in when its about half full. The tabs break way to easy and it sags faster then the virtue speed feed or exalt
