Very smooth shot (extremely suprised for it's price tbh)
teching (5 minutes tops really)
Cons:
Under bore is a must (not a huge deal for me)
not wonderful efficiency even with cp reg (was at like 240 last time)
Overall: I'd get this over any cocker besides ccm (, be prepared to upgrade your barrel if you don't have one already. would suggest this as a great pump if you don't want to deal with cockers overall

If you're looking for a simple pump that doesn't have to shoot sweet - this is the gun for you. After coming off of a ccm s6 and t2, I'd have to say this is BASIC.
It shoots like a cheap spyder, and has a harder/sloppy pump stroke.
But, if you are strapped for cash and want to try out pump, go ahead - it's not a horrible buy for the money and will help introduce you to pump paintball without failing like the plastic pieces of crap on Walmart shelves.

This isn't my first pump but it is the first pump i've used to any serious extent. Had a 2k3 autococker w/ a ccm pump kit but never took it on the field. Cuz of that, i can't adequately compare to other pumps.
However, i can recognize the appeal & purpose of the KP - entry level pump, simple to maintain, upgradeable for those with the means & the desire, and it just plain works.
Needs a good break-in period so dry-fire as much as you want to soften the stock springs. Benefits greatly from a regulator, any that are mid or high flowing. Stock barrel works fine but that ball retention system won't last long, since it's a simple o-ring on the barrel. Invest in a tight bore barrel, .685 or less. Aside from that, any other upgrades are personal preference.

This is a pretty solid pump for the price. But it is also one of those 'You get what you pay for things' as far as I am concerned. First, the positives: You probably will not find a better pump out of the box at this price range for people who want a traditional styled gun (IE. Not a phantom). The cocking action is relatively smooth out of the box.. it could be better but it wasn't terrible. The gun will shoot pretty efficiently over a chrono once broken in and with a good paint to bore match. This gun will also take a beating, I played with mine a good bit in rough conditions and it kept on going, I really never had an issue with it other than pressure adjustments. Cons; It is a little on the heavy side, and my biggest gripe would have to be the 'farting noise' basically every shot. I was able to quiet this down by replacing the stock spring with a spring for a spyder I cut to size to match the stock one... but the sound was never fully eradicated.
Overall, I bought it to see if I wanted to get into pump, and for that purpose it suited it well. It got the job done day in and day out until I was ready to pony up and buy a higher end marker. For people getting into the pump side of the sport, I would definitely recommend it as a cheap option to beat up and test out to see if you will even enjoy pump before going out and dropping hundreds on a nice ccm or something.
