This mask is an overall buy for how cheap it is.The great thing abou it is the lens are thermal so it doesn't fog easy.I have encountered a problem of the inside freezeing up from your breathing but no fog.The mask fits great around the ears and nice snug.The foam inside isnt your usual spongy easily giving foam.It is still soft and feels great but doesnt absorb as much so the mask isnt pushing all the way done on your face.When you get the mask there is 2 lens covers on it one on the outsude and one on the inside.The one inside is alittle difficult to get out,just find a edge where its starting to peel.
I would give this mask an overall 8.5 out of 10
Its a great mask for a great price so dont overlook this mask.

Overall I don't think theres a better starter mask out there in the 30-40 dollar range. This mask is basically a bear bones Event. There are no soft ears, not much of a color selection, kind of a big profile, not the lightest mask.
But your not going to find anything this good for $30. It may not have everything you want but it has what you need.
And what made it handy for me was when I got some Events I could switch the clear lens from my Helix if I needed. So its a great backup mask if want Events as your main mask.

This is a wonderful mask for new people to the sport, or people who don't want to spend $100 for a highend mask. It is very sleek, and has a pretty nice appearance, but the low amount of ventilation on the mask makes it somewhat difficult to breathe. It fits my small head well, and the thermal lens is a great addition.

My first mask! I got it for a true bargain at $29. Great starter mask for recreational players. It has a nice lens, offers great protection! I like Empire's strategy with this mask: its the entry level mask that has similar features as the avatar and events. So players can get familiar and upgrade easily as their play improves Recommended new first mask by far.

Empire Helixgood mask for the price..one of the ears keeps falling off due to a broken piece...should have been one piece...overall decent mask

Bought this mask a couple months ago, used them altogether about 15 hours. They've never fogged up on me, which is a plus, until a few days ago. They fogged up enough to annoy me. Great lens but you get what you pay for. That's my only problem they have gave me. Great mask for a beginner, but I'll definitely be buying something else.
