I had an NXT for a while before I sold it to get my dm6. This is a pretty solid gun and is really easy to take care of as long as you are careful not to pierce your solenoid manifold with the top grip screws. For what it is, it is a pretty good gun but there are better within the price range.

Hey guys. I have been playing for a few years now, and I have always played with a shocker. I have recently got into tourneys and I got a new to play with which of course is the nxt shocker. Omg I cant tell you how much I loved this gun when I started playing with it...it was like a whole new gun compared to the sft!!! I am going to continue to play with this gun, but I am also trying to find another to have some extra fun with as well. I was thinking about getting an Invert Mini and thought I would ask you guys to help me out on what you have heard about Mini's and whether they are worth getting... so if you have any helpful suggestions or advice on the Mini or any other guns I should take a look at, please send me an email. This is the best marker that I have ever owned with a few ups and downs. When I first bought it (used) the first thing I did was change the feedneck and the ASA. Smart Parts really screwed us by putting on a horrible feedneck that doesn't fit anything and by placing a horrible ASA that strips tank threads.
-I recommend getting the Q-Lock feedneck and the CP on/off
When I purchased my NXT, it came with the Predator 10.0 board and I cannot complain about that board. It really opens up a lot of options for programming your marker.
Now to actually shooting the NXT. When I first shot this thing I was amazed. I've never really shot a faster marker with such low recoil. I have mine running at 200psi which is a bit high for an LP marker but it shoots great! It isn't very consistent with the stock bolt but I may be getting the Eigen bolt if I feel like blowing money. A lot of people complain about first shot drop off with the shockers. I never really get FSDO. I do occasionally but if you take care of the marker it will take care of you. The regulator performs pretty well. It sometimes gives me spikes of +/-10 but one it is re-lubed and broken in it shoots ropes. That can easily be fixed by getting a AKA Sidewinder or a 2-Liter reg (best on the market).
Overall, this is a great marker for the price. I highly recommend it to people that will take great care of it!

i have owned several shockers to include sft and nxt version and i have never had a good experiance with them at all. dont get me wrong it is a decent gun . really fast, and has a lot of cheap upgrades but the bottom line is it takes a lot of up keeping to keep a shocker running smooth way more than any other spoolie i have ever owned i have even sent my guns in to be teched and still when they return i get horrible efficiency and terrible shot drop off and consistency after all 6 of my shockers we completely rebuilt and fine tuned they still were not reliable at all but if you know what youre doing and you dont mind the constant up keep of a shocker its not a bad gun i would give it a 3.5 out of 5
