CPX has the most amazing fields I have ever played on.
I have the best times out here when playing with a "private" group. They have a bus to transport your group out to some of the more remote fields. There is a town to play in (with asphalt roads, multi-story buildings, mailboxes, and cars), there is a junkyard (old cars and trucks are the bunkers), and a WWII bombed city. The quality of the fields is just unbelievable, you have to give CPX a try if you are ever in the area.

Been here a few times and each time its the same thing, refs yelling ad the same people about keeping mask on on the fields... yea i know it is safety but maybe tell them that... the refs yell but I have never seen them take anyone out just yell at them... maybe if you want people to learn and keep masks on actually punish them.

Ive played all over the country and I always come back to CPX. I still remember when this park held the national tournament for the NCPA and they had a BMX/skateboard park at the front of the facility. It's grown immensely even though they've narrowed to a strictly paintball business. I've played on tournament teams sponsored by CPX and when you go regularly, tournament or rec ball, you truly become family. The fields are phenomenal and beat their long time competitors in the area hands down, specifically a former home field in the area that stopped caring for their fields and customers. If you want to see what paintball has to offer, let Paul, Ryan, Sean, etc show you at one of the biggest events for all plays styles when NPPL Chicago Open runs along side Living Legends.

Cpx is a lot of fun. There paintballs (marbalizers) are pretty good in my experience. They have two fields that are pretty much constantly open unless there is a private party. They have a lot of fields so you don't get bored easily. It is torture though to walk 10 minutes in the summer just to get to some fields. I think that they should have more open play games going on. The reason i say this is that most of there games are so full and once i get back from a game, i have to wait 30 minutes or more for the next. Some of the refs aren't the nicest. I can understand why they give the little kids an attitude but still. Their food isn't that bad either.

I've played at CPX several times including a few Living Legend events and a couple Windy City Classics. The property is not the best for large scenario games. The wooded areas are very thick with lots of hazards. The center of the playing area is bottlenecked.
This is a great field for walkons and private parties. The concept city field is pretty cool.
CPX has full service facilities. Field fees are reasonable. Paint pricing is high compared to other fields in the Midwest.
