I played here a few times. mostly in the winter. The indoor field it too small to really play 5man but is good for shaking the winter rust off. The outdoor fields are ok although last time i played outdoor i was on a gravel field so it beat up my knees pretty bad.

Ive been to Crazy Daves once a year or two ago for a three man tournament. Its nice to have an indoor close to home since AAPP closed, however it was extremely dirty and the thin turf was laid out on cement with no padding. Pricing was reasonable. Daves indoor is a great place for rec ball, ive never played outside but If you require a full sized xball field during the winter this is not the place.

The outdoor field now has turf down, so its a step up from the gravel of the past

I come up here to play indoor speedball with a few folks from the Nation. It's a good indoor setup, however I I've never played outdoor fields. It's bunkers are inflated and clean. There are a large number of left over shots in the corners that could used vacuumed up. Dave is great and charges $40 a case or $10 to BYOP. Field fees are $25 including all day air. Times are 10 till 4 on Saturdays when I've been up there, but most action is over by 3 pm.
This place has an AMAZING outdoor field that has over 25 inflatables. It's larger than regulation PSP and he has a 20 foot inflatable car wash for the 50 yard line. Bring food because the closest meal is McDonalds 7 miles back at the route 79 exit. He has drinks for under $2 (water, pop, gatoraid) and plenty of space and tables to put up your gear.
This is the place for speedball in Western Pa. indoor or outdoor.

Been playing here for a while, lots of good talent. Paints not to bad i get kills with it. The fields are playable, just got new turf for the out door fields. Great place to play indoors during the winter other then aapp. It's been around since the days of 10man and maybe longer. But over all i'll be going there for a good long time.

This is an insanely nice place to play. The outdoor airball field is brand new, indoor field is great for rain or snow. Both fields are full turf. The owner and his son are very nice people. The paint they sell is pretty good, especially the value for field paint. They were selling diablo formula 13 which was great, but they have moved on to xo spectrum, which is still pretty good paint.
I only have two problems with dave's.
1. the field is out in the middle of nowhere basically
2. Its hit or miss whether you'll have people to play with. Sometimes you can get 5v5 or bigger, sometimes your running 2v2 all day, which sucks.
overall a great field.

Crazy Dave's PaintballGood Place for winter practice and working on drills. Sells spectrum. BYOP is the way to go if you have paint around, But Its a good field and a nice place to keep playing in the winter.

I've been playing at Crazy Dave's for a few years now, and used to play some of their small tournaments. All I can say is if you live close, you are crazy to not play here. His prices now blow away any field I've been to in a while (25$ field entry and all day air; 40$/case of paint). The other main pro is the atmosphere. Some fields around are heavily trafficked by tournament players, who play in a tournament mentality, ever against the rec players, however that atmosphere doesn't exist here. A few weeks ago I went to play with my brother and met 14 people and we mixed and matched games from open to close, and this isn't the first time (surely not the last) that I've had these experiences here.
