There are about 9 fields, 7-8 which are used in heavy rotation, so you get a lot of different looks during a day. Some are more wooded, others house to house combat. Liberty no longer has an airball field, but has instead a small field that is set up like airball, but with a variety of wood structures.
The refs are very friendly and helpful, even with the jerks that sometimes show up. Most have some tech skill and often help fix marker problems too.
There is usually a mix of new and experienced players and the teams are rebalanced through the day. In the summer, it can get really crowded tho. Highly recommend the Big Games for a different experience.
Not a fan of the winter time ski lift, but the bathrooms are excellent!
They need to do some work on their web site but you can find good videos by players on YouTube.

Liberty PaintballIts a nice field about an hour from NYC. has large groups to play in and tons of fun. Problem is everything is overpriced. Paint is very good paint but at $70 a case it gets to be a little much.

Liberty PaintballI have been playing Rec Ball there for the past 6 months and have to say that they staff is very helpful and professional. The variety of fields is great, especially during open play.

Liberty PaintballGreat field. Gun techs lack some knowledge on more expensive guns. Fields tend to get muddy and smell very bad since they let animals roam free on the fields after hours. Great fields though....

Different places such as WWII and Area 51. Paint is a little on the expensive side. Other than that great field!

My school trip there does not care for safety though and they got what they deserved because they did not take it seriously. from accidental shots, to getting lit up so bad, you drop your gun in pain, they learned their lesson. it was funny for me though because i got to light up my noob friends from skool

It,s has real running water to flush! not like others with johnny on the spot. After the end of the day you can wash up. and change your clothes too. The only thing they need to change it,s the rental guns and Mask. and if you play doing the winter. the snow field its great !!!! over all great place to play!

This is a great field for new players and experienced players, it is very expensive though. This is my favorite field and would recommend it to everyone.

I've been to Liberty many times as I only live maybe 40 minutes from the field. If you are a competitive airball player, I would not come here anymore as they no longer have that field (for a few years now).
Even as a competitive player, coming here for fun can be great. The staff are friendly and pretty fun to talk with. The "Big Game" events can also be a good time to play paintball just for fun.
I highly recommend this field for newer players due to the help you receive and the fact that the field is HUGE (and I mean HUGE) on safety. Fun to be at, I give this place an A
