Pros: Great staff, safe
Cons: Fills to 3000psi, no airball, sloped fields
For the only field in the area, it does it's job. The staff is knowledgable and very friendly. There are only 5 fields. A spools field, pallets field, a speedball field, small village field, and an awful woods field. Every field is on a slope, giving the team starting on the top a huge advantage. The fields are well kept, and are definitely cared for. The field paint is most commonly empire hotbox, which they like to charge $70 for. Their main focus has moved to groups such as birthday parties, and events with rentals. Lots of serious players have started to go to other fields across the lake, or in Boston. There is still a solid amount of serious players that walk on there every weekend. In the winter, there are no walk ons.

Fairly fun field, though is fairly expensive compared to other fields I've been to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Has a large variety of fields but they usually just play on the speedball style ones.

There is alot of potential hidden deep inside Colchester Paintball. They have some recreational/woods courses that can keep even the most hardcore woodsballer content while still appealing to the walk on party player. Their spool field is alot of fun and proves to be a rather intense game. Lots of crazy angles and cracks that shots can sneak in. They have a small wooden "speedball" field that leaves most players wanting more, and every now and then they will break out their inflatable bunkers for some real speedball. Their staff is top notch and very friendly. Prices are reasonable, but you can tell that they try to capitalize on the fact they are the only place in the area to play. Back in the day they used to host some fun three/five man tournaments, but in my opinion, the owner's focus on birthday/bachelor/corporate parties has placed the tournaments on the back burner leaving local tourney players no options but to look for other places to play.
