in the short time i have been going to cru at this time i feel i have been treated real well. The staff is super helpful, easy to get along with and professional too.

The prices are real fair and they are very competitive on the pricing of markers and gear.

i have only played the indoor field at this time which reflects my rating but i have no doubt they more than likely have nice outdoor fields too.

overall i am very glad i found cru as its the most fun i have had playing paintball in a long time.

Played in a tournament 3-1-15. First thing, not nearly enough room to stage/pit gear. Only seventeen teams total playing and not a table to be found. Second, lighting is very poor. Could hardly see the paint you were shooting let alone the paint coming at you.Third, bunkers are not anchored at all (some had Gatorade bottles filled with water holding them in place). Kind of hard to play tight on a bunker when it moves if you touch it. The paint was empire blend but the paint must not have been rotated or turned. You could see through the ball and see the separation of the fill. Some of the paint was "lopsided" do to this fact so it would fly straight all the time. One (1) 4500 fill station for 85 players!! Really! One (1) chrono for 85 players!! Really!

PAY THE HEAT BILL! Could literally see your breath even at 2pm and it wasn't one of these -20 days. It was about 30 and sunny. Sunny brings me to my next point. If you are playing on the west end of the field it is VERY difficult to see the other team because the shadows.

CRU may be a decent place to play rec ball but I will NEVER spend my money on a tournament there again (nor open play for that matter). The reffing is a totally different conversation. I assume because we had TC on our jersey it put a bullseye on us right out of the gate.

Last thing is no floor covering off the field. I saw at least three players fall off the field because they had cleats on. Paint and semi polished concrete is a bad combo for paint and cleats.

Pros: Great selection of fields and Great and fun staff
Cons: non existent cons
I went to cru paintball the very first time on my birthday which was also my very first time playing paintball. I was intimated by paintball before i went to cru on my birthday. I had the best paintball experience without a doubt because of cru. The staff there are amazing and some of the most coolest people you would ever meet. The staff at cru make sure your experience is the best it could possibly be. Cru's prices are not terrible at all and they have a awsesome pro shop as well as 3 fields to choose from (indoor)speedball field, (indoor) tactical field, and the (outside) woodsball field. Going to cru paintball got me into paintball, I now have my own paintball gear and go there 1 or 2 times every 2 months. If you are in the flint michigan area check out cru paintball you will have a blast guranteed! I FOR SURE RECOMMEND CRU PAINTBALL FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE.

Only down side is the lighting seems a little dim and could be improved since it is indoors.

Pros: great environment, indoor
Cons: none so far
I enjoyed CRU a lot. It's more of a speedball type environment (which I liked). They do have outdoor fields, but I don't know much about them because we all wanted to play airball type games on the indoor field.

One of the best parts is that it has an indoor field. This means you can play in winter. I've played at other indoor fields that didn't take care of their fields and this isn't one of them. The field was clean and well taken care of.

It was a pretty good atmosphere overall. We didn't have any problems with people trying to cover noobs in ropes paint or anything like that. In fact they took it upon themselves to help newer guys out and played very kindly: i.e. if they caught an open angle on you you were just gonna be one-balled instead of hit with an 8 round burst, etc. It was an environment with enough skill present to be a challenge for skilled players, but enough restraint present to still be fine for new guys.

If I lived closer this would probably be my most visited field. Highly recommended.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: speedball field cleaning
I've been playing paintball since 2002, and nothing has come close to the quality of this establishment. Easy to find location, great variety in fields (as of April 2017, there is 1 indoor hyperball, 1 indoor speedball that is regularly changed or updated to modern play style, and 1 newer outdoor course), friendly and knowledgeable staff, massive variety in stock (anything from replacement parts in 15 year old guns to top of the line, new releases), and an overall great and positive attitude. Great mix of newcomers and veteran players alike. Will work with teams for scheduling and practice, and is accommodating towards private parties.

The one and only thing that I would knock (which is true for almost any indoor field) is the cleanliness of the turf for the speedball course. I would say it sees the most action out of the fields, especially considering it is used for the in-house team practices and walk-on action during the day. Didn't seem like enough to take away a star for quality, but it is a slight mental reminder.

Overall, fantastic field and store. Would recommend to any level of player. A+!

BEWARE - Took one of my markers in for them to work on it. They swapped out part of my upgraded bolt with a stock bolt and said nothing. Upon inspecting the marker I noticed it and called them out on it. They called me a liar and made no effort to fix the situation. Would not recommend this field to anyone. Bottom Line: BEWARE

Pros: Best paint for your buck period
Cons: a little cold in the winter until first game
The field is an NXPL full size setup, which is pretty awesome, the field is kept very clean for a paintball field, my gear has to be washed much less when playing here, where other fields I have to wash my uniform daily after use. There is an indoor scenario field which is a huge plus, it is nice to switch up the map once you've played nothing but speedball for months. and they have an outdoor field that I cant wait to try.

Now the service!, Awesome! all of the people there have seemed to be great, the owner chris is a real down to earth guy who runs the establishment great me and my team will be making this our new home field after only 3 days of play here.

the paint is some of the best I have shot for the price if not the best.

great job CRU
