I am from NC so I have only played on this field once. I came up to my parents for the weekend and brought all my gear because I wanted to try the field out. Saturday night it pretty much rained all night but I checked on here and everyone said they were still coming out to play. The field on Sunday was wet and there was mud everywhere but I still had an awesome time.
It was team practice that day and in no longer than 10 mins a ref came up to me asking if I had a team I was with. Told him no and on the spot he got me to jump on with some people which was awesome. Everyone that was playing that day was really cool and would help you out. The refs at the field were also really cool and actually did what they are supposed to do. This was one of the most organized fields I have ever played at
Besides all the mud from the rain the night before it was a good field and will definitely be coming back and playing here more often

KPS Paintball is a great place to play. The cost is great, the store staff great and the field staff is great also! If your on a team the team practices are very well ran and everyone gets plenty of play time. They also always have the most current PSP layout set-up. The only downside is the field is hard dirt (clay) and some grass.

I can honestly say that i have never seen such unity at a field. Everyone that goes and plays acts like a family on the field. The talent is right (d2, d3, and d4) teams that play there podium in national events last year. They just got a new 2011 PSP field and expanded it to regulation length. If you want to play against the best people in Virginia come to KPS simply put.

KPS offers a wonderful amount of tournament play for a wonderfully low price. Several teams practice on a regular basis here, Including Rage, who did amazingly well last year. Everyone is willing to help you on and off the field, and the pointers from the players there have improved my game tremendously. Favorite field in the greater Richmond area

KPS is a great location for people looking to get in some quality speedball practice. On team practice days there are 6-12 teams ready to roll. The practice days are well organized and well attended.
KPS actually has two fully netted fields and they usually alternate which field is setup from week to week. Their larger field has a full set of PSP bunkers.
The one weakness is that the grass is a bit lacking. They have definitely been working on it and it is improving but it's just tough to keep the grass in good shape when it's getting worked over pretty hard every two weeks.
The people at the pro shop are friendly and welcoming and it's usually very well stocked.
