SDPP is an amazing indoor field to practice at. Friendly players and staff surround this magical palace allowing you to have an amazing day of paintball. Not only does the field contain regular paintball but it also has reball allowing for some cheap team practice. Highly recommend this field to anyone in Southern California.

Disclaimer: I've played ball all over San Diego and New England. This is a TOP 3 field for me in California.
Location: In Mira Mesa about 2 miles from the 805. Extremely easy to get to and has a lot of food, shops, etc. around.
Field: The field is smaller. Not X-Ball regulation at all but, it holds it's own. Brand new bunkers. Very good condition turf. Indoor fields are notorious for their "Beams" (Somethings gotta hold the ceiling up right?) but, this field only have a very few. All of which are completely padded. Layouts have changed the 3 times I've gone so far and always are good.
Facilities: It's a smaller place for sure but, it does provide a good time. They have a small bathroom which is actually really clean all the time...Dunno how they managed that. They have a small proshop. They sell drinks. They sell paint.
Paintball Amenities: They have the capability of filling to 4500 PSI. They do sell paint and it varies. Last time the paint was ehh and the time before that it was amazing. A new field like this is still establishing it's paint partnerships so the consistency will come around. I haven't played reball yet but, played in college and they use the REAL REBALLS.
Atmosphere: All the refs are cool and know you by name a few games in. They do their job and clean, check, ref the games, and help you out if you just start learning. All the players are good but don't have a chip on their should the size of Camp Pendleton. A really mellow play atmosphere. Perfect for getting better.
Overall: I am very pleased with this place overall. It's actually nice to be able to play at night against good people. Only time will tell if the place sticks around. It's definitely the place to be at nights and for "colder" times in SD but, there is a lot of competition in the area for fields. I'll personally always come back and support the business but, they need to keep fresh to keep open which shouldn't be a problem.
