Chesapeake PaintballThis place is great. Fields are fun. Turf is better than the other local grass fields. I love how its highend paint only. Makes it fun for everyone. And the paint breaks when it hits someone

CSP offers a few different things. First, it provides tournament players a quality field to practice on which in turn brings more players out to practice against. Second, it provides a place for recreation paintball with their expanding fields. Third, and most important, they provide an environment that fosters the interest of paintball allowing young or new players the ability to experience different aspects of paintball without being overwelmed. The staff is friendly and that trickles down to regular players who are willing to explain to and help anyone who needs it.

having played paintball for 8 years, I can spot a bad field from a good field. with that being said, Chesapeake paintball park is an absolute disaster in almost every way. To say this field is unsafe is an understatement. The fields are littered with broken glass, nails, screws, cumbersome rocks every other sort of sharp debris. Mask and barrel bag safety seem to be an option ratherthan a strictly enforced ule. On more than one occasion, I had to remind other players that masks are not an option. The ref just blew it off. We had a group of about 2 dozen and only had one ref. paint checks were impossible and his game directions were null. He didn't speak up and didn't seem to take charge of the field and game the way a ref should. The paint was decent paint nothing special, the air fills were to 3; with so ref instructing rentals on how that process worked. the entire field is in the back of a trucking lot, with no signs out front except a tiny paintball sign on the trailer all the way in the back. Chesapeake paintball is a accident waiting to happen. Save yourself and find another place to play. Organization and leadership are nonexistent. Safety is nonexistent. Sharp glass and injury causing hazards are very much plentiful. The only reason I rated this park a 1 star, is because that's as low as it can get. Epic Fail.
