Bullard PaintballJune 2012 Relatively new field still under development.
The only one in the Tyler, TX area that is still open. So get out and support the field and play.
"The Pit" is the most interesting...
Bullard PaintballThe field is the only one in the Tyler area. I typically drive to Forney and play at official paintball but that is an hour and a half away where as Bullard Paintball is 10-15 mins from Tyler.

The guy that runs the place (Parker) is a really nice guy. This was my first time trying out their field and we talked alot about their current setup and what is to come in the future.
Bullard paintball has only been open about 3 years so it is still growing. They have several fields that are made in dirt pits so it is cool to be able to watch a game from above as it is going on. They have a nice speedball field and they have a woodsball field and a couple of pit style fields with lots of dirt mounds and such for cover.
Due to when I went there were not many rec players at all hardly. I think this was due to the weather though as it was 100+degrees outside. The local speedball team was there though hosting tryouts for a D5 team. I played with a birthday party for two games then played several games with the speedball guys because there were no other rec players there the rest of the day. I'm not really into speedball and tourney play anymore so it wasn't as fun to me. I enjoy helping new players and growing the sport more.
I spoke to Parker for a while and it seems they are trying to grow more and add on new fields for the fall. They are talking about building a hyperball field as well as setting up more scenario style play. They only offer 3000psi fills right now as they do not have electricity due to location and the costs to get electricity to them. They do however have generators so basically everything has power that needs power. They are working on trying to find a way to adapt the generator to run their 4500psi compressor so they can do 4500 fills.
Paint is kind of expensive for what it is. $65 a case for DXS Field Paint or GI Sportz Field paint. If you have a membership the price is $55 per case.
The entry and memberships are very good pricing. It is $15 for walk on all day air and play. Or you can buy a membership for $45 and play all you want without entry and you get a discount to $55 per case of paint.
All and all it is a great field for the area and I look forward to going back and playing there once it cools off some and maybe there are more players for Rec Play. It is growing slowly but that is due to the lack of regular players in the area.
