Flint Hills paintball is a decent field to play at, if you are a player who knows the legitament rules of paintball and are going to play along with other players who know the rules as well. As the noob player here could get hurt as the field is not maintain nor does the owner properly referee the field. The owner and managment is not willing to make safety changes for his large field. If I were to take a noob player or player in general to a field for the first time. I would recommend Foxhole's field in Juction City, KS / Elite Sports field in Salina, KS and Drop Zone paintball field in Topeka,KS. These fields are well maintained and managed by experienced paintball players, with years of experience under their belt. They understand safety with and emphasis in bringing a positive name to paintball thus growing the industry and the sport. Where as the managment and ownership of Flint Hills Tactial is just financially motivated and not interested in providing a positive atmoshere that influences individuals to continue to play. Or using some of the profits to manage and maintain the field. Flint Hills paintball is hands down a park I would not recomend to other unless you are an experienced player who understands risk and understanding that their is nothing positive on the field other than the size.
As for sanitation the field is not maintained by the owner or management. On site of the field their is 1 out-house used for a restroom that is not maintained also it does not provide any form of security or privacy for females or males for that matter. So if you are female baller or a Mother, Spouse or sister of a baller and you want to go with you patron to attend a day of play. Just be for warned you will have to use the restroom with all that are around know and being able to see you. As a father to a young female baller I did not want my daughter to play at this field, though she is a very experienced player. I did not want my spouse to play thier either she too is a very experienced player, as I was not satisfied by the basics of privacy and sanitation that could be afforded through a "Porta John". That was being ignored by the owners and management of the field. Plus if you are in the staging or parking area you may get hit with stray balls. As the field is not securly covered to prevent strays for guests and those wanting to observe.
I have personally see all side and places of the field and their are location on the field wher their are rebar or posts within bushes where an individual could be hurt on the field not just from the game but from the surrounding of the field or the natural vegitation. This could be easily managed by ensuing more refs on the field. Though the owner would not like to as it would take from his profits. In my opinion when a field choses profits over safety its best to move on the other fields.
