Well, I submitted this field to be added to PBNation and I guess I should probably write a review for it.
Blackbeard's cove is a well established family fun park off of Highway 17 which runs through the charleston area. The park offers things like an arcade, go-karts, jump castles, and recently, paintball! For those who live in the Mt. Pleasant area, you'll agree that paintball is unheard of aside from the 'Paintball Day' that the rec center hosts annually. That is gone with Ground Zero now.
Field: The field is a concept field and consists mainly of plywood bunkers. Originally, this was the laser tag field and now they have made a quick switch to paintball. Some of the boards have slats cut in them and makes for an interesting, sometimes slightly annoying, murder hole. There are a few plastic chemical barrels tossed in as well as large plastic box pallets. There is ALWAYS a ref on hand and regulars often help out as well.
Rentals/air: The rent tippmann 98's and run compressed air ONLY. They DO offer 4500 fills, however, there is no fill station. You must fill from the compressor. Not a big deal, just a little slower to fill than a fill station.
Paint: They offer diablo heat at $45 a case. Pretty average and quality paint for the price.
Players: A mix between those with more experience, those with less, and those with none at all. The field is only semi and FPS stays between 240-250 when playing with rental players. Otherwise, they are unopposed to velocity moving up to 280-290.
Pricing: I am currently working with the owner to make a price more agreeable to those who want to purchase extra paint at the case price.
field fee/rental/all-day air/500 paintballs - $35
field fee/all day air/500 paintalls - $25
I am trying to lose the extra $10 for the bag of paint for a $15 field fee and air and then buy your paint at case prices.
Overall: I enjoy this field and intend to play there often. Their future plans include an airball field, most likely x-ball. I figure, my patronage along with everyone else in the area just might make that happen.
Field gets a 5 of 5 overall.

Blackbeard's cove is a great place to play paintball if you are in the town of Mt. Pleasant, because the only other field in the area is Paintball Charleston, which is all the way across town. BBC only has one field, but it's nice, and they change it up every so often. The refs are cool, and I recommend playing here at least once and twice.
