Safety first. Two words: top notch. This field is on top of safety. They give a detailed safety orientation before you play, there are at least two refs with every group (mine had three, the number is based on group size), and they have zero tolerance for unsafe behavior. The refs are extremely careful, constantly reminding people about masks, barrel condoms, and safeties. And this is without anyone having violated any of the rules. They take a very proactive approach to preventing accidents, and this is very good.
Varied and interesting terrain, seemed to be well maintained, a bit muddy after a few days or rain, but thatís understandable, happens everywhere. Dead zones at each end of most fields is good.
Probably the best paintball field I've played so far.

We took our Special Education class to NJ Paintball over the summer as a reward for their hard work at Summer School. These inner city teens have special needs. I confess, myself and the rest of our staff were pleasantly surprised with the patience and courtesy of the Club's staff in handling our kids. They bent over backward to make sure we had a fun and safe afternoon of paintball. I had done quite a bit of research looking for a place that could meet our special needs, and I had to go out on a limb with the Board of Ed to arrange this outing. But all the effort I put into finding the right place for our outing payed off. Now we are talking about making a paintball outing a yearly event. Thank you NJ Paintball Club staff, for your courtesy and understanding. The kids loved their paintball adventure! We'll see you next summer!

I first visited this place a couple years ago for a corporate outing with ComCast. I was so impressed with the organization that I recommended NJ Paintball for my nephew's Bar Mitzvah party.
This Club is the premiere place to play paintball in northern NJ. It's never over crowded, you always get private games, the staff are adults, the woods are deep, and the safety is impeccable. It's well worth the few extra dollars to go first class.

Pros: Many beautiful fields, very safe, adult staff
Cons: Unpleasant staff, extremely expensive
First off, the safety was excellent. They are super on top of things all day long, and have a comprehensive safety briefing. Two thumbs up.

The fields are all woodsball, and they are great. Very diverse, wonderful terrain (lots of elevation changes), and fairly large. They can easily accommodate games of 15 or 20 on a side.

This is a FPO field, and the prices are extremely high at $110/case.

Lastly, I thought the staff was less than friendly, with a couple of exceptions.

In a nutshell, the fields are great, there are a lot of them, and they are completely on top of safety, but the staff was unpleasant and the price is extremely high.

I expressed these thoughts in a review on YouTube, which resulted in the following responses from the employees and management of NJPC:

From user PaintballNJ1:
"How about the way you TRASHED NJ Paintball Club??? Where I've worked for 25 years! Your screwed up review has cost the Club hundreds of players and we've had to lay off half a dozen statff members... all cause YOU didn't have the experience YOU wanted???? We even offered you a FREE admission and FREE bag of 500 balls to make up for your bad experience... but you didn't even have the common courtesy to respond? Want to make things right? PULL THAT F-----g bad video review off YouTube! UNDERSTAND"

Also from PaintballNJ1:
"Totally untrue subjective and negative vengeful review. Somebody didn't kiss this guy's a-- as much as he wanted it kissed so instead of complaining to the management while he was there, he ran home like a little weasel, hid behind his computer, and produced this crap, whining review. If you can't say something positive, keep your mouth shut."

And from user John Peters:
"We're done talking. We're done offering you a FREE admission, FREE CO2, and a FREE bag of 500 balls to make up for whatever it was you didn't like when you visited. Our NEXT conversation about your defamation of character will be done one on one with you, FACE TO FACE, at one of the paintball sites you frequent, or through our lawyers in a lawsuit against you for multiple injuries caused to the Club by your video review. One last time, we are respectfully requesting: TAKE DOWN YOUR REVIEW!"

Take that as you will.
