Ok as a long time fan of this place I am completely shocked and disappointed!
I took a short break and amongst other things like a brief tour in the military, I have missed the last 3 years at DZ.
So I go there today and there are a total of TWO/2 players playing 1 on 1. No air up bunkers in site, place is not as maintained as it used to be. They have lost their following and I basically wasted an hour drive to get there.
Then I show up with me and my buddy and they tell us that we should have called ahead to check!!! Are you kidding me! Their website says that airball is up every weekend unless weather is really bad and they claim on the website to have one of the best/most played field in the area! And it is somehow my fault that I didnt call ahead to find out if there were more than 2 people there.
That is complete bs and terrible customer service.
POINT BEING THAT DROPZONE HAS LOST MOST OF ALL THEIR BUSINESS (on the field that is) AND ITS YOUR FAULT IF YOU SHOW UP AND THERE IS NO ONE AROUND. APARENTLY THEY GET BUSY FROM TIME TO TIME BUT IT IS NOT, IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, WORTH YOUR TIME AND EFFORT TO GO THERE!
Save some money and go to jaegers or 280 at the very least, especially if you are a speedball player. DZ is a complete waste of time for all the serious players out there. I have more to say but im not going to, just take my word for it. most of the reviews here are old and the news ones are from saturday, woodsball players and I doubt very seriously that woodsball there is worth it either!
DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID AND BETTER MAKE SURE YOU CALL AHEAD TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE DOING WHAT THEY PROMISED ON THEIR WEBSITE!

I usually paintball at my house with 18 people. I live about 5 mins from dz park. Ive only played there castle and speedball field so i might not value it as much as other people. Love Newbs hahahaha, staff can be *****y ( not the refs but the cashier and park owner ). If a gun breaks, they are always there to help you fix it! Getting a good laugh and chilling out with great people at dz is my favorite thing about it ; )

Have been playing at this field for years and have only enjoyed the experience. Reagan and all of the other field refs are always helpfull. If you have a gun problem they can usually fix it for you or tell you what direction to go if they can't. They do allow you to bring your own paint which is a must, and also have HPA and Co2 fill stations. They also hold tourny practices and have fields for begginers.

Drop Zone PaintballBest store in my area, went in to try on some masks and felt so comfortable and appreciated that I walked out happy with my purchase. I would definitely go back and most likely will in the future.

Castle play is always fun. You have to see when they set up airball up top, so don't go there and EXPECT it to be up if you don't...

Castle play is always fun. You have to see when they set up airball up top, so don't go there and EXPECT it to be up if you don't ask. They usually are good at informing when team practices are and such.
I haven't been to DZ in a while, but the grass was atrocious. I heard they were growing some, but I don't know how well that went.
The overall experience is very fun. Met a lot of cool people there throughout the years.

Played here for a couple of years now and has to be one of the nicest and coolest places in the Kansas area to play at. They usually do 1 team practice a month with lots of people from every skill level and tons of experienced people to help the newer people. The staff always helps and is nice. They run amazing scenarios also which is fun for everyone.
Everyone should play at dropzone you are guaranteed to have a good time.
