Hill 13 (stunt ranch paintball) is my home field mainly because it has BYOP and decent fields.
I really like this field and the people who work there. The downside is that some of the people who work here smoke .
They don't have airball, but I hear rumors that they are building an airball field

Basic Information:
-They charge $20 for all day HPA/ Co2 + $8 use your own paint fee (thats if you own all your own gear.)
-For a basic rental package it's $40 (marker, mask, hopper, tank, 500 rounds, all day air).
-Paint costs $20 for a bag and $65 for a case. They use some paint called "Midnight".
-Fields: Hyperball (speedball basically), bunkerbuster (small woodsball field), and Armageddon (bunch of dirt hills and trenches, the favored side is the close side.)

I recommend this field because of the good price and the close distance to the Bee Cave and Highway 71 area.

This was my 1st field I went too. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are real friendly and eager to help out if you need it. Fields do need some work. If the owner would put a little more money into it, this could be a great field all around. Hope he reads these.

Pros: close to Austin, BYOP option, several large fields
Cons: skimpy air fills, no grass/turf, no airball
I suppose I should start out with the customer service/pricing: Entry is a flat $20 and includes air fills off of a waterfall system that rarely fills above 2500. Paint is somewhat expensive at $20/bag or $60/case and the BYOP fee is $8. The refs are not very active in terms of paint checking or really anything except yelling go and making sure everyone has their masks and barrel socks on at appropriate times. It is also worth mentioning here that they operate with a pretty unreliable yellow pocket chrony instead of a legitimate field chronograph. The fields were mediocre and include a hyperball field with a lopsided setup and very small bunkers that tend to be made of pallets towards the middle, a post-apocalyptic mockup that contains a car shell, old appliances, and a whole lot of dirt mounds, and a very wide field named "bunkerbuster" that consists of many bunkers made of plywood and tires as well as a couple of small wooden towers (which are all on one side of the field). These fields are almost completely rocky dirt so don't forget your kneepads and paintball pants. That being said, it is a very laid back environment that is conducive to having a good time. The refs were all pretty personable guys and they split up the teams as evenly as possible to try and ensure a fair match. In conclusion, if you're looking for fast-paced games and good competition then keep looking but if you're looking for a solid rec field close in to Austin, this is probably your best bet.

Pros: Friendly staff, Close to Austin, BYOP, Laid back
Cons: Quality of fields, air, no speedball
I play here all the time because Texas and Outlaw are too far for me, and Austin's just way to overpriced (about $120 for a day with your own gear!). Needless to say even though it's my only option it is still a very solid field.

Pros:
BYOP- This is usually a must for lots of players, as new and weekly players like to buy their paint at academy or dick's and bring it as it is much cheaper to do so.
Friendly Staff- The staff here are top notch. They stricltly enforce safety rules, get games going fast, and will even just randomly walk to people in the staging area and begin conversations.
Location- Very conveniently placed for people living in Austin.
Laid back atmosphere- This fields a very fun place to go with your friends. While it's not the greatest field in the state, the atmosphere brings the players back.

Cons: Quality of fields- While these fields are great for beginners that don't care much, but as a weekly player that notices these things, most of the fields are poorly placed. Most fields are just dirt piles and pallets, not a whole bunch there. 620 is even just a large pile of rocks taken from highway 620 and carelessly dropped in a "field" shape.
Lack of air- The air is sub-par as it never fills more than 2500-3000 on a 45 tank, and most of the time only one scuba is good.
No speedball- This is fine for beginners, but for a lot of players this is a huge turn-off.

Synopsis: Great field that'll keep you coming back if you like a chill atmosphere to ball on the weekends. A little more effort on the manager and refs part to make even fields would make this place awesome.
