Great field, beautiful location north of Magic Mountain. Has some good concept/hyperball fields. They do have airball fields too. BYOP, self fill air, it's worth a visit.

Pros: Rec Ball, friendly environment
Cons: Air Ball
Great place to come down with first timers and try it out. Rec ball fields are awesome here, staff can be friendly at times and they have an airstation right next to the fields so you dont have to constantly go back and forth. The airball field could use ALOT of work. The turf is extremely sticky, bunkers are constantly deflated and the bunkers are never mirrored correctly. Other than the airball field, its a great place to play.

Pros: People there are awesome, scenerio games near end
Cons: Tires sucks... really bad
Ok so looking at the other reviews I see why I don't have those issues I usually go on Sundays and its a good batch of people we know at this point and a few walk ons
the one time I went on Saturday on saturday once and it was a terrible experience cuz the level of experience did not match and sponsored people where going against rentals
Sundays it seems like every one is really cool the ref sets up scenario games which makes it a blast and puts a few maps together when there are a lot of people took a private party here and they loved it ref took care of us really well
they just added a 4500 tank by the waiting area which makes it sooooo much easier. negative is it takes a while for the games to get into a rhythm first half of the day youll play maybe 6 because 5 minutes till next game turns to 15 after lunch everyone is there quickly and youll get about 10 games in
tires sucks but there was a representative there asking what we wanted changed and he said theyre actually working on it already to get more props for it and more scenario games to so im excited and their best field is terminator by far

Pros: Always good competition
Cons: Pricey, Start field late and end early
Since CPP and Giant Paintball (Gio) opened their new speedball field, I have been visting CPP frequently. It is an awesome field! Great grass like turf, brand new bunkers and great competition for the most part.

On the downside, they usually open up the airball field at around 10:30, and close it down at about 2:30, which only gives you a 4 hour time frame to play, kinda lacking in my opinon. Also charging you $25 for only 4 hours of play is pretty expensive if you ask me.

Their management is questionable if you know the history of Gio, so to the teams out there, don't get sponsered by CPP or Gio. I've only heard bad things.

More about the field. The bunkers are not staked down so if you do bump them, they tend to fall over, not a huge deal.

If you wanna play at CPP for scenario I highly suggest it. They run a ton of games and the fields are pretty elaborate and fun. If you are coming to play the speedball field and don't mind playing for 4 hours an paying $25 then come down. If not, then check out warped. Teams practice there almost every weekend, and its an all day thing.

Cons: That damn hill to climb
Haved played here numerous times with my firends in private groups. Always have a great time. My only complaint is a hill you need to climb to get to the fields, which towards the end of the day is hard to do. Lol. But other than that its a great field and i highly recommend it.

Pros: Friendly, Fair, staff, Usually not busy, Deal Days
Cons: Hills, Rattlers, Windy, Dirt Road
CPP or Castaic Paintball Park is located in sunny Castaic, California just north of the I-5 and CA-126, minutes from Six Flags Magic Mountain and about an hour drive from Los Angeles. CPP is set on 37 acres in the secluded hills so I expect they will be expanding and adding many fields in the years to come.

CPP is open Saturday and Sunday and on the Weekdays for private groups. Player registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the games begin at 10:00 a.m. and play commences until 4:00 p.m. Of course you have to fill out a waiver and players 10-17 need a parent's signature. The Entry is $20 Walk-on with $10 All day air. You can rent tons of gear but it gets a bit pricey. They have Tippman 98's for rentals $11 and even have BT Omega M4's available to upgrade for 10 bucks more and a mask is $4 so its not too bad just for the necessities. They also have Deal Days like OG Pump Day or Members appreciation day and kids day. They also offer different year memberships that are good for all of the So Cal Parks under Giant Paintball except SC Village in Corona. They have great grop rates and the rates are even better for larger private outings from b-days and family reunions to corporate retreats and special events. They have a small pro shop that can provide almost anything for a day out at the Paintball Park. They have fill stations that go up to 4500 psi but lately one of their machines has been down so they have only been filling to 3000 psi.

Their scenario fields include: Airsoft City, The Castle, Fire Base Alpha, The Ghetto, Spool City, Terminator, and Tire Town.

At the close of 2011 CPP announced its newest Airball Fields featuring all new turf perfect for sliding running and dashing along the speed ball court. A great feature of the all new turf is reduced injuries as the field is made to absorb strong impacts and take even the toughest of abuse like football. They have also put multiple layers of peat rock to absorb water so the field wont get dirty. The only downside is that because it is the dessert on really windy days they have to shutdown the speed ball courts.

The experience was a really good one I've played Walk-on and Private Parties here and it's always been a good experience. The have a friendly, knowledgeable and down-to-earth staff but if you don't abide by the rules especially keeping googles on in active fire zones you can quickly find yourself out of the park. The only real downside of the fields was the very hilly terrain but it's not really that bad. The road to CPP is a little bad and isn't completely paved so you have been warned. The game speed is good and theres really no wait for a field because theres not a lot of people always there except for on some deal days. It's a great place to take the family or the bros and have a fun time the only thing is that because of the location there is sometimes rattlesnakes but the staff is well prepared and does a thorough check before the day begins and gives plenty of information about what to do in a situation with the wild life.
