Great field, beautiful location north of Magic Mountain. Has some good concept/hyperball fields. They do have airball fields too. BYOP, self fill air, it's worth a visit.

Now that GIANT took over, there are the obvious "commercialized" changes, one or two of which are a good thing, most not so good. I am a fan of well separated fields, i understand it might be quite costly, but having a few key fields netted off besides just the airball would be helpful. Not only to prevent bb's from airsoft games going on in the fields around you, but also to help clearly distinguish boundaries and such.

Pros: Big turnouts, new fields,clean
Cons: Distance between fill stations and field, windy
I was a previous employee at CPP when it first was bought by Giant Paintball, and absolutely loved it. From back then to the present day park, the progress is awesome. Staff is polite, helpful, and professional. A majority of the fields are re-done with more props, not to mention the refurbished 7man speedball arena that was recently built with brand new bunkers and turf. Overall, everytime I go to CPP it is always a great time playing paintball with other socal players. The only real problems that I have with the field is the distance between the fill station and arenas, and the weather. The fill station should be incorporated closer to the fields for a faster game rotation but it seems to be ok for now, just a little more of a workout. Occasionally the wind will be terrible at the park to the point where no games can be played without getting 5ft from your opponent.

All in all, CPP remains to be one of my favorite fields and I recommend it to any baller looking to have a good time at a local field

There are alot of things to like about this park, first off the Astroturf speedball field is really nice, you do not have to worry about pot holes or uneven ground like with most dirt fields. They have a goggle free netted staging area located directly adjacent to the speedball field, This makes it really good for spectators or for catching a game while you are prepping for your next outing. The park is a bring your own paint but the paint they have at the park shoots very well. We ended up running out of paint, so we purchased a few cases of thier paint and it shot straight ball after ball, definetly a paint that can hold its own. The staff is very friendly, down to earth and knowledgable. My team has been playing speedball there, and we have found it to be All around best park, we have team mates in L.A. who's drive is a little over an hour and the rest of our team is in Bakersfield, with our drive being an hour and a half.

Hope to see you all out there!!

This place is the best! We are new to paintball and have been looking for a field that is close, safe, fun and a lot of play. Close is relative, at nearly 50 miles door to door, not just around the corner, but easy to get to and no further than the other major fields in the norther Los Angeles area. Anytime you are shooting at each other and running around and jumping in and out of cover safety is a factor. They refs at this field are real professionals, they carry portable chronos and check all the guns on the field, they make sure everyone goes through orientation and there is a safety and rules briefing before each game. The fields are varied and interesting, you can play all day and not play the same field twice. The refs also strive to keep groups together while balancing the teams . You get a lot of play at this field, seems it is no more that 10 minutes between games, so you get a full day of play, without any sitting around. Oh yah - the best Taco Truck come by for lunch too.... All this and membership pricing that is a real value.

Where do I start? The field was fairly bad from begining to end so let's just start from the begining.

When we first got there, there was a crazy line formed for just paying. It took us 30 minutes to just pay to play.

We paid $30 to play ($20 for admission and $10 for air) which is higher than most of the fields in Valencia. The $20 admission is standard for self equipped but the $10 for air is just retarded. What made it worse was that their fill stations would not fill a 4500 CU tank past 2500 CU. The reason we were given was that "there were a lot of people there". It really wasn't that busy.

After we pay, we get set up and go to the chrono station. Another stupid line. I've never had to wait so long to chrono. There was about 50 people in line and one person in there running the chrono. We had to wait for each person to shoot, then, if their marker was running too hot, wait for them to adjust the velocity and try again. God forbid there was something wrong with their marker. This took another 45 minutes.

So, now about 1.5 hours into our arrival there, we are now ready to play. We walk up the hill to where we are told walk ons should meet. The ref comes and announces the game. It looks like 100 people stand up to play. We ask the guy if we are seriously going to play a 50 on 50 game and he says there are no other refs. Beginer and advanced players all together. The ref starts the game, there are 5 people to every bunker. A few minutes into the game, no one is moving since each bunker is occupied. All you can do is try and nail someone from distance. Another two minutes into the game, the ref yells 30 seconds. At this point, its a 25 on 25 game. Still no where to move, the game ends. Switch sides and start the new 50 on 50 game. Only now, since you only have 2500 CU worth of air to start with, you start to run out of air.

This was pretty much the story at CPP. Get charged too much to play too little. There's nothing appealing about the place and I suggest going to other fields if you want to have a good time.

Owner is a COMPLETE douchebag, I DO NOT AND WILL NOT support them.
and quite a few staff members know almost NOTHING about paintball.

Hello I will bullet what I found:

Cons:

1) One Ref for public games the whole day which resulted in 35 versus 35 public game sizes.

2) Air station, only filled to 2000 PSI. Then after cool down 1700 PSI on both 4500 and 3000 PSI HPA tanks. This resulted in longer lines for air thus resulted in less games played overall.

Pros:

1) The ref (I remember him because he works at ANS) will make games as fair as possible. Actually runs around the fields checking paint and guns to make sure things were on the up and up.
