All of the fields at pev's are fun and well maintained. But with such a long wait time in between switching sides and playing games it can be a real drag. Turf normally opens at 10am but the bunkers are completely blown up till 11 because there is only 1 ref blowing them all up. And with closing at 2 it hard to get a decent days play on the turf field. There rec ball fields are amazing and well laid out and you can play many different types of games on them such as elimination, capture the flag and various others.

So I only play scenario, woodsball. i dont care for speedball, which PEVS has got a handle on. The "Scenario" fields are pathetic. Just simple bunkers in the middle of a field with no shade, which you NEED for those hot sunny days. No water on the fields either. The last time I played every time a new person showed up, the ref had to give the ENTIRE safety briefing over again. What a waste of time! Do that near the shop! The fields are WAY too small if you start getting a lot of players. You literally start tripping over one-another. If you like Hyperball/Speedball, then go here. If you like woodsball, go to Hogback.

This is by far the BEST field I have ever been to. Their turf fields are exceptional, and their scenario fields are very nice as well. They have a large open area for chronoing and gun testing.
The only downside is their prices, especially their field only paint policy. You have to use Pev's marked paint or they won't be happy.

For the most part, the field is awesome, i go there alot over the summer, but the only bad part is how expensive the paint is at the field. This is why I have to drive 40 plus minutes when ever I want to get cheaper paint because I go to the proshop pevs has at fairfax. I wish they would make paint a little cheaper at pevs so that people aren't blowing 80 bucks a case when it should be around 40 or 50.

This is my home field. And I have often contemplated making the extra hour drive to go somewhere else regularly to avoid the staff and their prices.
Main problems:
-often understaffed
*one ref all day for speedball
*players usually have to set up the fields in the morning to get things started
-overpriced:
*paint on saturdays and sundays: $80. $45 if you pay during the week
*all day play and air: $15 (considering you have to set up and help ref.....)
*batteries, swabs, o rings and anything else you may need in a hurry is often 3 to 4x the regualr cost because they know you can't waste the hour drive back to the proshop or a store in town to buy it regular price
-terrible customer service
*staff will often misinform stuff (IE team rates and practice costs and elegibility)
*o rings on air fill stations will blow and takes sometimes over an hour to get a staff member to fix it and even then they
*ref's often do less reffing than the actual players who will come out between their games and help ref

Pev's Paintball ParkWent for a friend's little brother birthday party. It was only for an hour but our ref did an awesome job and was encouraging a lot of the kids who were scared at first which was cool to me....
Went for a friend's little brother birthday party. It was only for an hour but our ref did an awesome job and was encouraging a lot of the kids who were scared at first which was cool to me. Everybody's rentals worked perfectly and we all had a great time.
