Pros: Turf, parking close to field, not crowded
Cons: Poor supervision, unsafe field ops, poor attitudes
My NCPA team practiced at Gecko because it was the closest field to our campus. The marines make getting to this field a big pain in the *** - eg. if the deem your tires too bald they won't let you on the base. They are overly sensitive on security because Miramar hosts the Navy Brig (prison).

As for the field, they don't ever check any of the tournament player's crono speed. Also, there was an incident where an opposing player assaulted me on the field and flipped off my mask mid-game and all they got was an ejection for the day.

The turf is low quality and there is only one field. The recreational field is small and they don't allow you to move past the 50 yard line.

All in all - go to camp pendleton if you want a fun and professionally run facility.
